The two-storey chalet is next to the railway line between Chamonix Mont Blanc and Vallorcine, but is well-insulated and soundproofed. Inside, the cosy open-plan living area is full of alpine charm. It is furnished with a corner sofa, a wood-burning stove, a flat-screen TV, as well as a dining table that is next to the kitchen. Glass doors open onto a private terrace and garden with a table and chairs. Here guests can dine al fresco on the wooden decking. Back indoors, the kitchen is separate from the dining area by a deep worktop. The kitchen is fully equipped with an induction hob, oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, raclette, Nespresso coffee machine and French press. All the facilities of the Chamonix region are on your doorstep, as Le Buet-Vallorcine railway station is just a 5-minute walk from the residence. During the summer season, the valley is full of fun activities: stunning mountain trails for hiking or mountain biking, climbing and horse riding. There are several restaurants and cafés close by, which cater to various ages and budgets. For self-catering there is a weekly market (every Sunday morning) in Argentière (8-minute drive), for other options the nearest supermarket is also in Argentière. Geneva Airport is a 1-hour 45-minute drive away.
