The town enjoys easy access to the mountains and excellent facilities for skiing and snowboarding, with well-maintained slopes and lifts. The resort suits skiers and snowboarders of all levels and guests can ski in and out directly from the apartment. There are also opportunities for cross-country skiing, heli-skiing, ice skating, motor sledging, dog sledging and snowshoeing. In the summer, visitors can go hiking through the forests and alpine meadows. There are also numerous mountain biking tracks for all levels, as well as tennis, golf (Sestriere Golf Club is a 5-minute walk), and swimming. Visitors will also find many restaurants and bars to suit all tastes and budgets, all within walking distance (including a Pizza restaurant right below). For self-catering, Sestriere has supermarkets and smaller shops selling local specialities; the closest is a 2-minute walk away. Turin airport is a 1-hour and 30-minute drive from the apartment.
