Location The apartment sits right in the heart of the lively Masalforn Bay village on Gozo's north coast, with the Masalforn beach, Ghar Qawla Beach, the promenade, restaurants, cafes, diving clubs and bars only a 5-minute walk away. A scenic coastal walk west leads past Qbajjar Bay to the historic Xwejni salt pans, roughly 30 to 45 minutes on foot, or a few minutes by car; a car is worth having on hand for exploring further afield. Victoria and its medieval Citadel are about a 10-minute drive, with the Ggantija Temples, Malta's UNESCO-listed megalithic site, a similar 10 minutes further on. Ramla Bay, Gozo's celebrated red-sand beach, and the nearby Calypso Cave are around a 5-minute drive. Please note that Malta International Airport is on the main island, not Gozo: reaching the apartment involves a drive to Cirkewwa (around 35 to 45 minutes), a 25-minute ferry crossing to Mgarr, and a short final drive, for a total journey of roughly 1.5 to 2 hours door to door. The closest bus stop is just a 2-minute walk from here.
