Montgenèvre, just across the French border, is about a five-minute drive or a thirty-minute walk, and the ski resort of Sestriere is around 20 minutes by car. The historic fortress town of Briançon, in France, is about 15 minutes' drive, and Turin, with its airport, is roughly an hour and 20 minutes away. Public transport in the area is limited, so a car is recommended.
