A compact kitchen corner with a wooden worktop is all you need to cook for each other, with a hob, oven, fridge, coffee machine, kettle and toaster for late breakfasts and suppers for two. Outside, the secluded private terrace and garden keep the day to yourselves, with a table facing the woods for breakfast together, a barbecue for dinner outdoors and, after dark, a sky full of stars to share. Location Serramazzoni is a hill town in the Modena Apennines, where the flat farmland of Emilia gives way to woods, meadows and walking trails that begin around the estate. For the practical side of a self-catering stay, Ristorante La Fontanina is a 3-minute drive, the Ecu discount market and a wine bar are 10 minutes away, meanwhile the town centre around Piazza Torquato Tasso is 6 minutes by car. The medieval castle at Monfestino is a 12-minute drive. Further out, the Ferrari Museum in Maranello, the Castle of Montecuccolo above Pavullo nel Frignano and the Lambrusco vineyards around Castelvetro di Modena are all within 25-30 minutes away.
