Ski out in the morning and walk back to the door in the afternoon. This modern ground-floor apartment is in the centre of Peio Fonti, at 1,345 metres in Val di Peio, a side valley of Val di Sole in the heart of the Stelvio National Park, Trentino. It sleeps 2 and makes a comfortable base for a couple in both winter and summer. Everything is within a short walk. Shops, a supermarket and restaurants are around 50 metres away, and the Terme di Pejo thermal spa is 100 metres away. The Mezoli two-seater chairlift (lift no. 6) is 50 metres from the apartment, while the Tarlenta gondola (lift no. 1), 100 metres away, connects directly to the Pejo 3000 cable car (lift no. 7), which climbs to 3,000 metres and opens an 8 km descent back down to Peio Fonti. Tennis courts are 200 metres away. In winter the Pejo 3000 ski area has 20 km of slopes between 1,400 and 3,000 metres, along with cross-country skiing, ski mountaineering, snowshoeing and ice skating. The Skirama Dolomiti Adamello Brenta ski pass gives access to 380 km of slopes across 8 ski areas in Trentino, including Madonna di Campiglio and Pontedilegno-Tonale. In summer the valley offers trails for hikers of every level, mountain biking routes and rafting on the Noce river. A golf course is 17 km away and the nearest railway station is 12 km away. Accommodation & Main Features The apartment features a living area with a sofa, a wall-mounted flat-screen TV and a corner bench with a dining table. The kitchen is well equipped with an induction hob, oven, dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine, toaster and a fridge-freezer.
