Enjoy an action-packed holiday in Argentière from this warm and welcoming 2nd floor apartment, which can sleep 6 people. In the centre of the resort, and very close to the slopes, it makes the perfect base for alpine adventures all year round. The contemporary duplex apartment is full of mountain style, with beamed wooden ceilings and panelling. There is a sunny open-plan living/dining area with the kitchen stretching around the corner. The seating area is furnished with a sofa and a flat-screen TV. Opposite the sofa is an attractive dining table with benches and chairs for 6. A glass door leads out to a private balcony with panoramic mountain views. Back inside, the fitted kitchen is equipped with an induction hob, oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, raclette, chocolate fondue set and a Tassimo coffee machine. Sleeping Bedroom 1: The charming master bedroom also has panelling. There is a double bed and storage. Bedroom 2: The cosy second bedroom has 2 single beds and a bunk bed. Bathroom The stylish bathroom has a walk in shower and a basin. There is a separate WC. The nearby slopes are ideal for intermediate and experienced skiers. Some of the higher slopes offer skiing later in the season, sometimes right up to early May. For younger children, the famous Panda Club ski school is only a 6-minute walk. All the facilities of the Chamonix region are on your doorstep. During the summer months, the choice of activities is endless; stunning mountain trails for hiking or mountain biking, white water rafting, golf, rock climbing and horse riding. The village is home to some excellent restaurants and bars to suit all budgets. For self-catering, Argentière’s weekly market is on Sunday mornings (in season) for the freshest local produce. Chamonix’s market, Place du Mont Blanc (12-minute drive), takes place every Saturday morning throughout the year. Geneva Airport is a 1.5-hour drive from the apartment. Argentière railway station for the Mont-Blanc-Express is only a 6-minute walk away.
