Menton's historic centre, with St Michel Basilica and its famous stairs, sits in the same walkable core, and Plage des Sablettes, Menton's best-known beach, is about a 10-minute drive. Ventimiglia in Italy is about a 15-minute drive, well known for its Friday market. Monaco is 20 to 25 minutes, Èze 30 to 35, and Nice around 40 to 45, with Nice Côte d'Azur Airport a further few minutes at about 45 minutes' drive. Sanremo, also in Italy, is roughly 40 minutes away.
