Villa Lyss, Mellieħa: apartments with pool in northern Malta In the heart of the village of Mellieħa, Villa Lyss sits in a calm and peaceful setting in the north of Malta, in a private residence perched on a hilltop. The apartments are bright and carefully decorated, designed for families, couples or groups of friends. Inside. The living room combines a sofa bed, a round dining table with four chairs and a wall-mounted TV, in warm orange and earthy tones. The kitchen is bright and practical, with an oven, an induction hob, a fridge and a window looking onto greenery. The two bedrooms each have their own character: one with a double bed in lime-green shades, the other with two single beds against a turquoise wall. The bathroom is modern, with a stylish washbasin and a bath with shower. Outside. The residence has a lovely swimming pool surrounded by palm trees, with plenty of sun loungers and a stone barbecue area. Guests also appreciate the warm welcome from the hosts, the spacious and well-equipped apartments and the short distance to the centre of Mellieħa. Parking is free. Around the villa. Mellieħa church is about 7 minutes away on foot, and Mellieħa Bay about 19 minutes on foot. Golden Bay and Mellieħa Bay are less than 10 minutes by car. Restaurants, bars and shops in the village are close by, and the north of the island is a convenient base for reaching Gozo and the rest of Malta. Please note: Each apartment has 3 air-conditioning units. An additional charge of €1.5 to €2 applies for every 7 hours of cooling at 25°C, using €1 coins.
