Our flat in Residence Eden was simply lovely. The view was tremendous and we enjoyed our outstanding view of the lake. Having two full bathrooms was a treat. Check-in was simple and the lovely touches of a working iron, coffee and breakfast pastry was very nice. We particularly appreciated the pool and fans in every room as the weather was very warm during our stay. Argengno is a LOVELY town, just large enough to merit its own ferry stop but not so large as to be overwhelming. There is parking so driving is easy, but we often preferred to walk to town down the (steep) street directly adjacent to our house that put us right in the main square! I would absolutely recommmend this flat to anyone interested in staying on Lake Como.

August 2018 The house was excellent. It is situated 4 minutes of walk from the lake, in a quiet neighborhood. I strongly recommend and will definitely come back. Anna, UK

The host was very responsive, answered all questions very fast. Thanks a lot. Unfortunately the pool wasn't yet available and the WiFi password didn't work. But this didn't impact the great time we had there! Thanks a lot.

This condo was a great location in Argegno with a beautiful view of Lake Como. Be prepared for the very steep, but short, walk down the hill, but at the bottom you will find a lively town square right on the water with restaurants, cafes, gelatorias and basic shopping. The town is a little more quiet than some of the glitzy tourist areas but still fun. Take the funivia up to Pigra for excellent views of the lake and mountains. You can take the commuter ferry to other lakeside towns, but the best ferry is in Cadenabbia, a few kilometers north, that goes directly to Bellagio in 5-10 minutes. The condo has no air conditioning and we were there during a very hot period. The bedrooms on the upper level had very low ceilings and the skylights wouldn't stay open so it was hot up there in August. We managed by spending time in the lovely pool. The condo was also lacking a microwave, toaster, and the coffee maker required an adapter, so making breakfast or any meal other than cheese and crackers was impossible. No Wi-Fi if that matters to you as it did to our kids trying to share photos to friends at home. The location, views, and pool were the best things about this place and it could be much better if they would add some of the basic amenities usually found in an Airbnb.

Fantastic location, apartment had plenty of space. View from balcony was superb (and exactly as shown on website) and there was so much space that we practically lived on our balcony! Flexible changeover day. Plenty of crockery in the kitchen. Swimming pool was fabulous. Argegno is a lovely village - the ferry boat stops but it is not too busy. We loved the walk down from the apartment so have attached a photo. It was easy to find the apartment as instructions were very clear - without these we might still be looking for it now! As we self-catered quite a bit it would have been good to have information about buying food e.g. supermarket in Lenno, fish shop in Argegno. We did find these things eventually but would have been good on day one especially as there are so few shops in Argegno itself. Having said that we thoroughly enjoyed our week on Lake Como and would definitely recommend our holiday to friends.

The absolute highlight is the breath-taking view from the balcony over lake Como and the surrounding mountains, with beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Amazing. The appartment is big and roomy, for 5 adults and a kid it was spacious. 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms & a living room with a kitchen. It is equiped with a washing machine, a combi-microwave and a dishwasher. Location is good - 8 mins only to the center & lake - but going back is a climb up the mountain, in a 45º slope. Consider that when coming in the summer. Also consider the lack of air conditioner! The air is standing... the humidity is unbearable. There are ventilators that help a bit, but an airconditioner would have been nice. Downsides: The second floor is an attic, it gets very warm and stuffily. The roof-windows could get in fresh air - but they don't open...! Sleeping upstairs was a nightmare, and the managing company couldn't solve the problem. The maintenace level is quite low. The cutting board in the kitchen was dirty and scratched. The pool had a moldy frame on its walls. The ventilators were so dirty, they didn't let air through. The mattresses are old & uncomfortable. And last but not least - don't count on internet! Wifi signal is so weak that even WhatsApp cannot connect. We spent a small fortune on data packages. Bottom line - so so. We probably won't get back there, next time we'll book somewhere else.

Beautiful views. The property is spacious and could be made amazing but it is tired and the facilities are old. There is a very steep walk back from the village of Aregigo and there are only two local shops opening on minimal hours so a car is essential. There are numerous rules at the pool which are over the top, including no noise, food or drinks around the pool. This complex is beautifully situated and Lake Como, Aregigio and the surrounding areas are stunning but the property is in need of updating. However we absolutely loved the holiday overall.

Overall, we enjoyed our time in Como, the location and the view from the balcony were amazing! We did have issues getting into the lock system. The instructions said it can be quite difficult, it was very awkward and took 6 people to get the keys. We arrived to a lovely welcome package with breakfast/milk which was nice and the apartment was clean. With the bedrooms, the beds were single beds put together but the issue was more with the mattress which we all found quite uncomfortable, as well as the pillows. We were not left much toilet roll in the apartment, arriving late Saturday night meant that we could not get any toilet roll until the shops opened on Monday. There was no WIFI in the apartment and the pool was closed. Both of these were advertised as being available so we were very disappointed we did not have these. After reporting the issue, neither were resolved and the date of pool opening changed until a later date!

Beautiful views, larger apartment than most. We realized going in that there was no Air Conditioning but that during night time hours temperatures dip somewhat at the Lake, and we could open the windows, creating some cross ventillation. In the upstairs part of the apartment, which is more like an attic space, the sky lights would not remain open. They opened by Remote control and 7 to 10 minutes later, would automatically shut. No air at all upstairs and one cannot wake up ever 10 minutes to open the windows (while sleeping). We communicated with the management office, who sent a technician, he disabled the windows so that we could manually open and close them, mentioning that the devices needed to be replaced, things were ok for that night as we kept them open. The next day, upon returning from our day excursion, someone had come back in to re-connect the Sky Lights and we were back to our initial situation of not being able to cool the upstairs bedrooms again. Very disappointing as this never did get resolved. We would not recommend this place because of these issues, temperatures were 33C to 35C during the day and even warmer in that second story space.
