Sorry for my delayed reply, been hectic with work since we returned from holiday! We had a really lovely week in Porlezza, we just thought the whole area was beautiful, the scenery is really out of this world and everyone we met was so lovely and welcoming. I would say the scenery and the friendliness of all the locals was the best thing about our holiday, including the amazing view from the villa. The villa was lovely and we loved sitting out on an evening with the stunning lake view. The location was also perfect being so close to the village and restaurants etc. The living room area is really amazing and spacious, although we found the bed area a little small. We appreciated your tips on things to do in the area and we explored quite a lot of it, particularly enjoying the boats which we rented from nautic planet a couple of times. We would have loved to go on one of the train trips but our toddler is a bit of a handful on public transport so we travelled mostly by car. We did make it to Milan for a day trip too and did a couple of hikes. The villa was easy to find with the detailed directions and the team were very helpful when we asked for a high chair and a new cotbed. My iphoto is playing up at the moment so I can't attach any photos but will send some on in due course as we took lots of pictures of the amazing view from the living area. Thank you again for all the information you sent through.

What a really unique holiday home! La Torre Di Porlezza gave us both a very charming rustico experience as well as a luxury modern feel! The accommodation was very nice for my wife and me. Our covered lake view living space was very relaxing in the day and also very romantic at night! The holiday home was very close to the shops and restaurants in Porlezza and it was also very easy to reach Lugano too by car. We had a really great escape here! Thank you for making our time here so magic!

What a fantastic place! Our holiday home was so unique, we couldn't have asked for better! It was located within easy reach of the town amenities and restaurants, plus had the best lake views! The property offered us the perfect mix of modern and country-style. Utterly charming. We particularly loved the splendid covered outdoor terrace and hammock! Thank you for a wonderful stay in La Torre Di Porlezza! The property was incredibly different from all the others we had previously stayed in on Lake Lugano. It was a newly renovated cosy period 'rustico' with a striking contemporary lake view annexe to its side. It offered us the perfect holiday retreat and we enjoyed some great times sitting outside when the weather was mild and also enjoying cosy evenings in with a homemade meal and a roaring fire. There was a good selection of restaurants in Porlezza and we found a fantastic range in nearby Lugano. Porlezza also offered lots of convenient amenities as well as a frequent bus service to both Lake Como and to the north of Lake Lugano. Thanks for such a fantastic stay and once more for your super hospitality. We had a great time hiking, relaxing, dinnig out and exploring more of the beautiful lake district. See you again next year!

We had a most wonderful time. It was our fist visit to Italy and now we can say we definitely want to return. Our accommodation was fantastic and if possible, we would love to stay in the home again. We found Lake Lugano area more quiet than Lake Como and although Porlezza is a small town, it offered us everything we needed. And Menaggio and the other beautifull towns/villages are close by if you need more adventure. Our time was so wonderful, because the home suited our needs 100%. Thank you for a wonderful time. And a special thank you to the owner who allowed our 4-legged baby Hannah to enjoy it too. She was in heaven there. We hope to visit La Torre again.
