With beautiful interiors and a striking exterior, this 4-bedroom getaway in the peaceful Tuscan hills is the ideal choice for a completely tranquil holiday experience! The rich yet simple pleasures of countryside life are given the perfect twist at this charming retreat renovated from a typical farmhouse. There is a large outdoor pool area with sun loungers for the exclusive use of the guests to unwind with lush views of the surrounding countryside and olive groves. The property's well-manicured garden provides much-needed respite and shade to enjoy alfresco dining in two cosy setups under a parasol and also offers a BBQ. This semi-detached escape can easily host up to 10 guests and is divided into two buildings: the first is arranged over three levels, and the second across one. In the main building, guests can relax in the spacious living room centred around a fireplace. This space is furnished with two large sofas, a flat-screen SAT-TV and leads through to an archway from the living room. There is also a fully-equipped eat-in kitchen fitted with a dishwasher, a microwave, a drip coffee machine and a cooker hob. The second building features a beautiful en-suite bedroom and a small kitchenette. Sleeping Main Building Bedroom 1: An elegant bedroom with a double bed and wardrobe. Bedroom 2: A romantic bedroom with a double bed, vanity and wardrobe. Bedroom 3: An attic bedroom with a double bed and a wardrobe. Please note that the attic is reached via a steep wooden staircase. Extra: There is a double sofa bed in the living room to sleep 2 guests in comfort. Second Building Bedroom 4: The 4th bedroom is furnished with a double bed and enjoys an en-suite bathroom. Bathroom Main Building There is just one bathroom shared amongst the 3 rooms and is fitted with a shower, a washbasin, a bidet and a WC. For the exclusive use of guests are a couple of areas equipped for outdoor dining facing the house. Crossing a very small road leading to a property below, guests will find the pool reserved for their exclusive use (12.5x4.5 mt; depth: 1.2 - 1.6) along with a shower and an equipped lawn (350 m2). Location The semi-detached holiday home is located in the peaceful hills of Val d’Arno, just 45 minutes from the centre of Pisa, where the Leaning Tower of Pisa attracts tons and tons of tourists year-round. The shops and supermarkets, ideal for a facilitated self-catered stay, are a 5-minute drive from here; meanwhile, the closest restaurant and winery are a 10-minute drive away. For added relaxation, guests can head to Terme Casciana at a 30-minute drive, and well-known since the Etruscan times. They can also visit the sandy coastline at Marina di Pisa, located a 1-hour drive and enjoy a whole day out at the beach. For an off-the-beaten-track activity, there is a horse ranch just a 25-minute drive away. Within 1 hour, guests can explore and discover some of the best-known destinations of western Tuscany, including Lucca and its impressive town walls, the imposing towers of San Gimignano and the cultural gems of the Tuscan capital, Florence. Leonardo Da Vinci is the nearest international airport, approximately a 1.5-hour drive from this holiday house in Grosseto, Tuscany.

Beautiful and tranquil stay in the Tuscan hills. The pool and scenery are beautiful and the villa is very rustic and traditional. Our one improvement would be that they include some stemmed wine glasses and more kitchen utensils, but we made it work for a week! The pool area and views are so so much more than the advert shows. It’s a stunning place and our family had a wonderful time.

Es war alles genau so, wie wir es uns vorgestellt haben. Sehr ruhig und erholsam gelegen, viel Platz für due große Familie und Freunde und Simona und Marco sind sehr freundlich und immer da, wenn man sie braucht :) Der Pool und die Wohnküche waren für alle das Highligt. Wir haben ums von Anfang an wohlgefühlt. Die Lage zwischen Florenz und Pisa war für uns ideal für Ausflüge dirt hin und nach Lucca, San Gimignano und Volterra Volterra. Einem schönen Strand haben wir auch gefunden, 1h11 min vom Haus entfernt. Der August war wirklich sehr heiß, aber das haben wir vorher gewusst. Wir kommen bestimmt mal wieder, vielen lieben Dank für alles!

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Malerische Gegend. Schöne große Poolanlage. Die Unterkunft war sauber und hatte ausreichend Platz für 2 Familien mit insgesamt 8 Personen. Geschirr und Maschinen waren für dem täglichen Bedarf ausreichend. Alles sah viel besser aus als auf den Fotos, wir wurden positiv überrascht. Leider hatte das Wetter nicht gut mitgespielt. Pool hätte mehr/öfter gereinigt werden können (Poolboden). Alles in einem sehr empfehlenswert. Wir haben es trotz des Wetters sehr genossen. Danke Simona für den freundlichen, unkomplizierten Empfang ( waren wg. Stau viel später da als gedacht) und auch Checkout. Wir würden es lieben wieder zu kommen.

Vi havde en rigtig dejlig uge i huset. Poolen var virkelig dejlig. Der var lidt problemer med vandet i bruseren. Enten var det meget varmt, koldt og ofte var der meget lidt vand i bruseren. Værten kom forbi og prøvede at fikse det, og problemet blev løst kortvarigt. Huset er af ældre stand, men stadig fint. Med få midler kunne huset få en glædelig opdatering. Bl.a. kunne det være dejligt med vinglas og flere skære bræt. Alt i alt havde vi en dejlig uge, og kommer gerne igen. Desværre glemte min datter sit fladjern, og kommunikationen med at få det sendt til Danmark går ikke så godt. Efter vi er kommet hjem er der desværre ingen svar når jeg kontakter værten.

Wir haben mit mehreren aus einer großen Familie eine schöne Woche dort verbracht. Die Umgebung zwischen Olivenbäumen, Pinien und Zypressen ist wunderschön. Der Pool war ein Highlight, da man sich jederzeit und flexibel abkühlen konnte, wenn es zu heiß wurde. Die Vermieterin war sehr nett und offen. Einen Punkt Abzug gibt es von uns für eine dreckige Toilette bei Ankunft in der Unterkunft, sowie mehrere klebrige und dreckige Küchenutensilien (Gläser, Töpfe, Wasserkocher, etc.). Die wohnung war mit insgesamt drei Kaffeemaschinen ausgestattet. Leider funktionierte keine einzige, was wir auch direkt gemeldet haben. Leider gab es die ganze Woche keinen Ersatz. Die Möblierung im Haus entspricht nicht ganz den Bildern im Internet ist aber in Ordnung. Von dort aus erreicht man schnell viele große Städte wie Pisa, Florenz, Lucca und auch den Strand in Viareggio. Vielen Dank den Gastgebern für eine angenehme Woche !

Wij hebben ontzettend genoten van ons verblijf, het ruime huis en grote zwembad! Onze host Simona was ontzettend behulpzaam: late check-in (23.30u) was mogelijk en op verzoek heeft zij zelf vast wat boodschappen voor ons gedaan! Het huis ligt prachtig, is erg authentiek en heeft een mooie buiten ruimte inclusief groot zwembad. Een aantal zaken die wij persoonlijk minder vonden waren allereerst alle douches, soms koud, soms warm en vooral weinig tot geen waterdruk. Ook waren de deuren van de appartementen soms lastig open te krijgen met de sleutels, voor beide zaken is Simona langs geweest, zij was goed bereikbaar wat erg fijn was! Daarnaast mag er wat ons betreft wat meer geïnvesteerd worden in goede (wijn) glazen, bestek en pannen. Veel keukenspullen waren echt gedateerd en lastig mee te koken (koffiezetapparaat, ovens, pannen, koelkast in beneden appartement). Desondanks hebben wij een onwijs fijne tijd gehad in Toscane en zouden dit appartement zeker aanraden aan anderen!

Le logement était très bien sur l'espace, la situation et le calme. Il manque des produits de 1ère nécessité, ce qui est bien dommage. Ces produits tel que de l'huile, du sucre, etc... sont utiles dès l'arrivée surtout lorsque nous arrivons en avion. Ils peuvent ensuite être remplacé par les locataires, au fur et à mesure de leur utilisation. Nous avons eu un soucis internet sur plusieurs jours et étant donné que le réseau mobile ne fonctionne pas sur le lieu, il était difficile de communiquer. 50€ d'électricité pour 4 nuits, me parait beaucoup surtout qu'il n'y avait pas de chauffage. Pas de bois pour allumer la cheminée.

We had an amazing week in the house! At our arrival the house keeper met and showed us the way to the property which is just at the outside of a beautiful village. Even during our stay she was always easily reachable, gave us all the info we needed and even brought us small things like an additional cutting board. The biggest plus for us was the amazing infinity pool with a view over the surrounding hills. The pool looks already nice in the pictures but is even better in real life. The house itself is divided into two parts: First the main house with three bed rooms, bathroom, a huge living room and kitchen which gave plently if room to cook. Second there is another bed room, small kitchen and bath room downstairs which felt like an extra private appartment. The surrounding is beautiful and offers a lot of nature which sometimes even lead to small friendly visitors like a cat, a fox and even a praying mantis. Especially in off-season the price-performance ratio is incredible!

While the pool and natural surroundings were gorgeous, the house and amenities left a lot to be desired. Despite claiming to sleep 10, only 3 sun loungers worked, all floats had holes in, too few crockery and one bathroom was out of order for 6 of 8 days. The house and bathrooms were especially dirty including dog hair everywhere. Noisy building work on the same property disrupted the stay continuously with builders then using our private amenities. Despite being informed a week prior, the additional cash fee of €50 for ‘electricity’ separate from any AirBnB fees seemed cheeky and like we were being extorted. Simona was responsive and did her best to help however I cannot recommend future stays

Nous avons choisi ce logement pour des vacances en famille, en recherchant une maison bien située pour visiter les grandes villes de Toscane comme Pise, Florence et Sienne. Ce logement a parfaitement répondu à cette attente grâce à son emplacement central. Nous tenons à remercier nos hôtes, Simona et Marco, pour leur accueil chaleureux et leur réactivité tout au long du séjour. Cependant, nous avons été déçus par l’état général des équipements de la maison. La plupart étaient vétustes, défectueux ou très sales, ce qui a malheureusement impacté notre confort. De plus, la salle de bain principale n’a pas pu être utilisée, la douche alternant entre eau glacée ou brûlante, sans aucune pression. Nous recommandons cette maison pour sa situation géographique idéale, mais espérons que notre retour permettra aux hôtes d’améliorer la qualité des équipements afin d’offrir une expérience plus agréables aux futurs visiteurs.

Sehr ruhig und erholsam gelegen, viel Platz für due große Familie und Freunde und Simona und Marco sind sehr freundlich und immer da, wenn man sie braucht :) Der Pool und die Wohnküche waren für alle das Highligt. Wir haben ums von Anfang an wohlgefühlt. Die Lage zwischen Florenz und Pisa war für uns ideal für Ausflüge dirt hin und nach Lucca, San Gimignano und Volterra Volterra. Einem schönen Strand haben wir auch gefunden, 1h11 min vom Haus entfernt. Der August war wirklich sehr heiß, aber das haben wir vorher gewusst. Wir kommen bestimmt mal wieder, vielen lieben Dank für alles!

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Malerische Gegend. Schöne große Poolanlage. Die Unterkunft war sauber und hatte ausreichend Platz für 2 Familien mit insgesamt 8 Personen. Geschirr und Maschinen waren für dem täglichen Bedarf ausreichend. Alles sah viel besser aus als auf den Fotos, wir wurden positiv überrascht. Leider hatte das Wetter nicht gut mitgespielt. Pool hätte mehr/öfter gereinigt werden können (Poolboden). Alles in einem sehr empfehlenswert. Wir haben es trotz des Wetters sehr genossen. Danke Simona für den freundlichen, unkomplizierten Empfang ( waren wg. Stau viel später da als gedacht) und auch Checkout. Wir würden es lieben wieder zu kommen.

Wunderschöne Umgebung und Unterkunft wie beschrieben. Vor allem der Pool ist total schön und man verbringt hier gerne Zeit. Hilfreiche Tipps zu Restaurants in der Nähe und Gastgeberin sehr nett und zuvorkommend.

Great stay! Traditional villa in a cozy spot on the hill. We would explore Tuscany during the morning/early afternoon, and then hang out by the pool to cool off from the heat! The host family was friendly and inviting. We had a wonderful trip. Thanks!

Vi havde en rigtig dejlig uge i huset. Poolen var virkelig dejlig. Der var lidt problemer med vandet i bruseren. Enten var det meget varmt, koldt og ofte var der meget lidt vand i bruseren. Værten kom forbi og prøvede at fikse det, og problemet blev løst kortvarigt. Huset er af ældre stand, men stadig fint. Med få midler kunne huset få en glædelig opdatering. Bl.a. kunne det være dejligt med vinglas og flere skære bræt. Alt i alt havde vi en dejlig uge, og kommer gerne igen. Desværre glemte min datter sit fladjern, og kommunikationen med at få det sendt til Danmark går ikke så godt. Efter vi er kommet hjem er der desværre ingen svar når jeg kontakter værten.

Wir haben mit mehreren aus einer großen Familie eine schöne Woche dort verbracht. Die Umgebung zwischen Olivenbäumen, Pinien und Zypressen ist wunderschön. Der Pool war ein Highlight, da man sich jederzeit und flexibel abkühlen konnte, wenn es zu heiß wurde. Die Vermieterin war sehr nett und offen. Einen Punkt Abzug gibt es von uns für eine dreckige Toilette bei Ankunft in der Unterkunft, sowie mehrere klebrige und dreckige Küchenutensilien (Gläser, Töpfe, Wasserkocher, etc.). Die wohnung war mit insgesamt drei Kaffeemaschinen ausgestattet. Leider funktionierte keine einzige, was wir auch direkt gemeldet haben. Leider gab es die ganze Woche keinen Ersatz. Die Möblierung im Haus entspricht nicht ganz den Bildern im Internet ist aber in Ordnung. Von dort aus erreicht man schnell viele große Städte wie Pisa, Florenz, Lucca und auch den Strand in Viareggio. Vielen Dank den Gastgebern für eine angenehme Woche !

Wij hebben ontzettend genoten van ons verblijf, het ruime huis en grote zwembad! Onze host Simona was ontzettend behulpzaam: late check-in (23.30u) was mogelijk en op verzoek heeft zij zelf vast wat boodschappen voor ons gedaan! Het huis ligt prachtig, is erg authentiek en heeft een mooie buiten ruimte inclusief groot zwembad. Een aantal zaken die wij persoonlijk minder vonden waren allereerst alle douches, soms koud, soms warm en vooral weinig tot geen waterdruk. Ook waren de deuren van de appartementen soms lastig open te krijgen met de sleutels, voor beide zaken is Simona langs geweest, zij was goed bereikbaar wat erg fijn was! Daarnaast mag er wat ons betreft wat meer geïnvesteerd worden in goede (wijn) glazen, bestek en pannen. Veel keukenspullen waren echt gedateerd en lastig mee te koken (koffiezetapparaat, ovens, pannen, koelkast in beneden appartement). Desondanks hebben wij een onwijs fijne tijd gehad in Toscane en zouden dit appartement zeker aanraden aan anderen!

Le logement était très bien sur l'espace, la situation et le calme. Il manque des produits de 1ère nécessité, ce qui est bien dommage. Ces produits tel que de l'huile, du sucre, etc... sont utiles dès l'arrivée surtout lorsque nous arrivons en avion. Ils peuvent ensuite être remplacé par les locataires, au fur et à mesure de leur utilisation. Nous avons eu un soucis internet sur plusieurs jours et étant donné que le réseau mobile ne fonctionne pas sur le lieu, il était difficile de communiquer. 50€ d'électricité pour 4 nuits, me parait beaucoup surtout qu'il n'y avait pas de chauffage. Pas de bois pour allumer la cheminée.

We had an amazing week in the house! At our arrival the house keeper met and showed us the way to the property which is just at the outside of a beautiful village. Even during our stay she was always easily reachable, gave us all the info we needed and even brought us small things like an additional cutting board. The biggest plus for us was the amazing infinity pool with a view over the surrounding hills. The pool looks already nice in the pictures but is even better in real life. The house itself is divided into two parts: First the main house with three bed rooms, bathroom, a huge living room and kitchen which gave plently if room to cook. Second there is another bed room, small kitchen and bath room downstairs which felt like an extra private appartment. The surrounding is beautiful and offers a lot of nature which sometimes even lead to small friendly visitors like a cat, a fox and even a praying mantis. Especially in off-season the price-performance ratio is incredible!

While the pool and natural surroundings were gorgeous, the house and amenities left a lot to be desired. Despite claiming to sleep 10, only 3 sun loungers worked, all floats had holes in, too few crockery and one bathroom was out of order for 6 of 8 days. The house and bathrooms were especially dirty including dog hair everywhere. Noisy building work on the same property disrupted the stay continuously with builders then using our private amenities. Despite being informed a week prior, the additional cash fee of €50 for ‘electricity’ separate from any AirBnB fees seemed cheeky and like we were being extorted. Simona was responsive and did her best to help however I cannot recommend future stays

Nous avons choisi ce logement pour des vacances en famille, en recherchant une maison bien située pour visiter les grandes villes de Toscane comme Pise, Florence et Sienne. Ce logement a parfaitement répondu à cette attente grâce à son emplacement central. Nous tenons à remercier nos hôtes, Simona et Marco, pour leur accueil chaleureux et leur réactivité tout au long du séjour. Cependant, nous avons été déçus par l’état général des équipements de la maison. La plupart étaient vétustes, défectueux ou très sales, ce qui a malheureusement impacté notre confort. De plus, la salle de bain principale n’a pas pu être utilisée, la douche alternant entre eau glacée ou brûlante, sans aucune pression. Nous recommandons cette maison pour sa situation géographique idéale, mais espérons que notre retour permettra aux hôtes d’améliorer la qualité des équipements afin d’offrir une expérience plus agréables aux futurs visiteurs.
