Set in the heart of the stunning Tuscan countryside, this charming converted “Casa Colonica”, a traditional country house, offers the ideal holiday retreat. The property has extensive well-kept gardens, with a shared swimming pool, charming outdoor seating areas, olive trees and picturesque views over the valley. There are 8 separate apartments, each with a private terrace area. This apartment has 2 spacious bedrooms and can sleep up to 6 people. The property has been very well restored, using local materials. There are cool terracotta tiled floors throughout and the ceilings are made from traditional wooden beams with terracotta tiles. The ground floor has direct access to terraces and the gardens both front and back. There is an airy sitting area with an open fireplace, sofa, armchair and a coffee table. The kitchen is through a traditional brick archway and down a short flight of wide steps. It is tastefully furnished with pale turquoise cabinets and a wooden dining table for 6 people. It is well-equipped with a cooker hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge and drip coffee machine. The second set of French windows leads from the kitchen to the private terrace looking out over the garden. The terrace has another dining table, chairs and a large parasol for shade. The two pretty bedrooms and a shared bathroom on the first floor are reached via the stylish wooden and iron staircase in the living room. The large swimming pool has multiple sun-loungers and parasols for guests to enjoy. The pool also has a special hydrotherapy seating area for added relaxation. Sleeping Bedroom 1: A large, bright room, traditionally furnished with a wrought iron double bed, and chest of drawers. Bedroom 2: This spacious bedroom has 2 single beds which can be joined, plus a chest of drawers. Extra: The sofa in the living room converts into a comfortable double bed. Bathrooms Bathroom 1: A modern tiled bathroom on the first floor, with a glass-fronted shower, basin, bidet and WC. Bathroom 2: On the ground floor, this brightly tiled bathroom consists of a shower, basin, bidet and WC. Additional • Free Wifi • Outside dining area • Shared swimming pool • Satellite TV • Air conditioning • Central heating & open fireplace • Mosquito netting on windows • Child-friendly • Cot available on request • Suitable for elderly • Parking places, car essential for your visit • Waste disposal - pets not allowed Extra charges Electricity, which covers Air-Conditioning and Heating consumption, must also be paid on the spot and based on consumption at € 0,40 kw/h. A town tax of €1/day per person (over 14 years old) needs to be paid at the property for up to 6 days. A Refundable Security Deposit of €200 must be paid in cash at the time of check-in. Please note check-in time is between 16.00-20.00 and check-out time is between 08.00-10.00. Any other check-in/out time has to be previously agreed upon. For larger groups, there are other apartments available on the same property. Please look at Refs: 5531, 5533 and 5534 Location The property is wonderfully located to allow guests access to some of the most beautiful spots in Tuscany. Just a 40-minute drive from the hilltop town of San Gimignano, 1 hour and 5 minutes from the centre of Florence and 1 hour from Siena, guests will be spoiled for choice as to where to visit during their stay. Italy is known for cooking some of the best food in the world and Castelfiorentino’s Saturday market will not disappoint. Here guests will find the freshest local ingredients, sold directly from the farms. The market is divided into two sections: Homewares and clothing, then food where you can buy everything including meat and artisanal cheeses, olive oil and honey, fruit and vegetables. If guests are interested in exploring more about local cuisine there are cooking lessons available at the Castello di Oliveto (20 minutes). The Castello also offers tours of their vineyard and winery, and food tastings and has a shop where you can buy some fine local wines and oils. For a fashionable shopping experience, The Mall Firenze in Leccio (1 hour and 10 minutes drive) offers a tempting range of designer outlet stores. Here you will find Fendi, Etro, Gucci and many more labels at reduced prices. More active guests will find tennis courts in Castelfiorentino (12 minutes) and a golf course at FootGolf, San Miniato (20 minutes) Florence’s international airport is just a 40-minute drive from the property and Pisa airport is only 45 minutes away by car.

Wir wurden telefonisch schon vorab informiert das unser Ferienwohnung fertig zum Beziehen ist, entspannt und sehr unkompliziert. Die Anlage hat uns auch sehr gut gefallen, sehr ruhig und entspannte Lage. Gut eingerichtet Küche, mit allem was man zum Kochen braucht. Der Pool und seine Lage auch sehr schön in die Anlage und Umgebung eingebettet. Wer einen ruhiger und entspannten Urlaub möchte für den ist diese Anlage perfekt. Können wir weiter empfehlen.

Même si nous ne nous sommes pas vu physiquement… nous avons conversé par message et tout était fluide. Petit bémol pour les équipements de la cuisine manque de vaisselle et de basique (huile, liquide vaisselle …) hormis cela le cadre est magnifique et très bien situé pour visiter la toscane !!!

Loved the place.. so peaceful and green. The pool was a huge plus although end April isn’t really all that warm. We were only 30 minutes to an hour from most places to see and yet away from the crowd and tourists. Loved the farm grown veggies and the horse stables nearby. The house was well equipped. The only one downside is the poor network in the area and the wifi issues we had but overall a comfortable stay.

In general we are happy with our stay at this apartment. The host is very friendly, easy to communicate with and helps in every occasion. Unfortunately, the wifi wasn't really consistent and it was complicated to log-in. Furthermore, an account was needed to log into the wifi. We were surprised that the duvets didn't have a cover, we are not used to that (in terms of hygiene). Nevertheless we would recommend the apartment.

Es war für uns ein idealer Ausgangspunkt um Florenz, Pisa, Volentera, Da Vinci etc. ideal zu erreichen. Kultur ist ein „Must“ in der wunderschönen Toskana.. nicht zu Vergessen die Weinproben, die wir gemacht haben und letztlich auch den Kofferraum damit gefüllt haben. Das Haus war wunderschön im toskanischen Stil gestaltet… der Pool hat immer zum relaxen eingeladen und für jeden war Platz, Liege und Sonnenschirm zur Verfügung 😎 Immer wieder wenn uns es uns nach Toskana sein wird 👍🏻

We hebben een goed verblijf gehad. Contact Het contact verliep meer dan soepel. Ze waren allebei enorm vriendelijk en spraken goed Engels. Accommodatie Het huisje is precies zoals de foto’s. Wel wat verouderd en we vonden het beneden vrij donker. Wat wij een beetje vreemd vinden is dat er geen borden en glazen zijn. Maar er zijn wel bestek en pannen. Extra fijn: Het zwembad is echt heerlijk. Erg fijn dat er een eigen terrasje bij het huis is. Leuke extra is de moestuin. En dat de auto onder een carport staat met 36 graden is ideaal.

Fijne en grote ruimte met genoeg buitenruimte voor en achter het appartement om in of uit de zon te zitten. Top communicatie met beheerders😄 we trokken per ongeluk de deur dicht terwijl de sleutel binnen lag😖. Zo opgelost! Er was een groententuin waar we alles uit mochten gebruiken, echt super wanneer je van koken houdt, geweldige pepers en tomaten in alle soorten en nog véél meer! Fijn zwembad. Op het moment dat wij er waren was het extreem rustig. We raden het zeker aan!

Structure très belle et bien entretenue. Nous avons adoré la piscine et le potager accessible à tous. Le hote et sa famille sont très sympatiques. Par contre l'interieur de la maison est vieillot, le frigo miniscule, peu de rangements. Le Wifi ne fonctionnait pas dans notre maison. Malgré cela, bonne adresse !

Het gehele complex ziet er erg mooi uit (zoal op foto’s) maar op sommige plekken in en bij het verblijf is het gedateerd. Zo werkt de Airco wel maar is aan vervanging toe. Inrichting zoals slaapbank, keuken en badkamer kan wel vernieuwing of opknapbeurt gebruiken. Verder ontbreekt er een waterkoker en stoelen op de slaapkamer.

Eine schöne Ferienanlage mit grossem toskanischem Garten und eunem schönen Pool. Die Wohnung sieht aus wie auf den Fotos, die Küche ist jedoch ziemlich spärlich ausgestattet (wenig Geschirr und schlechte Pfannen, kein Abwasch-und Putzmittel und kein Küchenhandtuch).

opzich een prima verblijf. zwembad was heerlijk, appartement ruim. terras ok, maar niet heel comfortabel op metalen stoelen. airco was meer een koelsysteem, Hebben we wel veel voor moeten bij betalen. kan aan mij liggen, maar vond het vrij sfeerloos, iedereen erg op zichzelf. verder wel centraal voor meerdere plaatsen. ze hebben genoeg tips voor de omgeving ook en antwoorden snel.
