Casa Dora is just 15 metres from the pristine white sands of the beautiful Loiri Porto San Paolo beach. This unique apartment, above an archway, makes an idyllic holiday base for family or friends. The apartment, which has a private entrance, can sleep up to 4 people. Its unique décor will delight guests. The open-plan living area has a pitched double-height ceiling with wooden beams. Large windows offer uninterrupted views over the beach and Tavolara Island. The room is furnished with 2 sofas, a wood-burning stove and a flat-screen TV. Next to this is the dining area with a table and chairs. Attractive wooden stairs lead up to the mezzanine bedroom. The adjacent, bright kitchen is imaginatively decorated and equipped with a cooker hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, Moka coffee machine and fridge/freezer. Sleeping Bedroom 1: The master bedroom has a comfortable double bed, a wardrobe and an en suite bathroom. Bedroom 2: The mezzanine bedroom above the living room has 2 single beds, which can be joined together, a laptop-friendly workspace and an en suite bathroom. Bathroom The apartment has 2 separate bathrooms. Each has a glass shower, bidet, basin and WC. Location Porto San Paolo is a picturesque resort, within the Mesara Marine Protected Area. It is blessed with white sandy beaches and turquoise sea. It has everything you need for a relaxing and fun holiday, whether you want to lie on the beach or enjoy a wide selection of water sports. Life centres around the busy marina, which offers restaurants, bars and shops under the shaded arcades. The island of Tavolara is well worth a day trip for hiking, swimming and lunch at the famous Da Tonino restaurant, run by the island’s current king. There is a regular boat service from Porto San Paolo’s dock. Olbia hosts farmers’ markets 3 days a week, the best being the Saturday market in Via Sangallo (25 minutes). Olbia Airport is just a 16-minute drive from the apartment.

Our stay was amazing! The AirBNB staff was slightly more rigid than the local onsite staff who was very prompt and helpful. Location was amazing! There ended up being Air Conditioning which was awesome! Small drawbacks, were we needed to pay extra money for “utilities used” around 50 euros. On top of the tourist tax. And other drawbacks was that the tap water we were advised not to drink. Otherwise beds were comfortable, kitchen was well stocked. Etc.

We loved the location just a few steps from the beach and beach bar/cafe. There were plenty of restaurants near by. The view from the apartment was stunning, pity there wasn’t a balcony to enjoy the view while having a drink and meal. We visited some other beautiful beaches in the area and were astonished at how packed they were and the cost of parking at them. We were happy to get back to ‘our’ little beach. There is also a nice larger beach just a few minutes walk away which is not too busy. I would recommend Porto san Paolo.

Il check-in è stato ottimo. L’appartamento risulta davvero in posizione ottima, con una vista mare meravigliosa e ben accessoriato di tutto (forno, lavatrice e lavastoviglie ecc). Purtroppo però l’alloggio è molto rumoroso. Inoltre, troppo luminoso al mattino perché non ci sono nè tende oscuranti sulla zona giorno, nè tende oscuranti sul velux al piano sopra. Oggettivamente, anche nel bagno al piano terra, manca una tenda… Un altro aspetto negativo è l’altezza della camera sul soppalco: bisogna stare davvero attenti a non picchiare la testa! l’alloggio è sicuramente troppo caro...
