History lovers will enjoy visits to Brežice, home to a Renaissance-style fortress and Krško with its medieval castle that overlooks the town (both a 15-minute drive away). Rajhenburg Castle, situated on the banks of the Sava River is a 20-minute drive away and has a history dating back to the 9th century and Pišece Castle is an 18-minute drive from the accommodation. Those in search of complete relaxation should head to Terme Čatež (a 20-minute drive) a well-known thermal spa complex known for its therapeutic, mineral-rich, geothermal waters and wellness treatments.
