Guests can reach the port of Laveno Mombello in 10-minutes by car where they will find a major ferry terminal with regular services to the Borromean Islands and other towns around the lake. The town is also famous for its cable car, the "Funivia del Lago Maggiore," which takes visitors up to Mount Sasso del Ferro. From the summit, visitors can enjoy panoramic views of Lake Maggiore and the surrounding area. The beautiful lakeside monastery ‘Santra Caterina del Sasso’ is also worth visiting and is just a 5-minute drive away. Founded in 1170, this Catholic monastery overlooks Lake Maggiore and is accessible by both stairs or an elevator. Visitors seeking total relaxation can head to one of the nearby lakeside beaches. The beautiful partial-sand partial-garden Guree beach is a 7-minute drive away and both the pretty family-friendly beach of Reno and the local beach in Arolo are only a 5-minute drive from the house. Die Unterkunft war sehr gross und es hatte einen sehr grossen und schönen Garten. Für Kind und Hund super. Es gab eher wenig Restaurants/ Unternehmensmöglichkeiten zu Fuss zu erreichen. Jedoch konnten wir uns in der ruhigen Gegend sehr gut erholen. Grazie mille

Great property and spacious garden. It’s located in a quiet neighborhood. Good base to explore the east side of the lake. Rental is organized via a real estate agency. Communication is prompt. Most likely a one-off incident: cleaning wasn’t performed when we arrived at 3 pm, but was arranged quickly at the end of the afternoon.

Kommunikation immer sehr gut und alle Infos super. Haus war leider von Wanzen befallen, was uns sehr gestört hat. Aber auch hier wurde sich gekümmert, auch wenn wir dann auch immer selbst mit dem Staubsauger täglich gehen mussten. Aber Fabio war immer erreichbar, hat uns Spray gebracht.

Huis is erg ruim en comfortabel, de tuin is echt prachtig en super groot. Uitlaten van je hond is niet eenvoudig door het ontbreken van groenstroken en het blaffen/waken van de vele andere honden in de buurt.

Die Villa ist sehr schön und grosszügig. Der volll eingzäunte Garten ist sehr gross mit Hund absolut top. Parken in abgeschlossenem Tor für 4 Autos genial.

Das Haus ist schön groß und geräumig. Allerdings war es nicht besonders sauber ( tote Insekten auf der Fensterbank, dreckige Badezimmerschrankfächer, staubiger Bettkasten, verschmutzte Bettwäsche). Die Bettwäsche wurde nach meiner Bescherdwme innerhalb von zwei Stunden gewechselt, womit ich sehr zufrieden war. Außerdem wurde sich entschuldigt. Leider hatten wir ein (kleines) Armeisenproblem im Bett vom Obergeschoss und in der Garage bzw. kamen die kleinen Tierchen über Nacht durch den Türschlitz ins Haus rein. Es gab hierfür vorsorglich ein Sprey um sie zu töten. Die Küche ist sehr gut Bestückt von Entsafter bis kaffeemaschine. Im unteren Badezimmer gibt es wohl ein Problem mit dem Stöpsel im Waschbecken... wenn dieser reingemacht wird um das Waschbecken zu verschließen, kann es nur mit Werkzeug und Handwerklichem Geschick wieder geöffnet werden. Trotz der warmen Temperaturen draußen, war das Haus angenehm kühl.

This house easily accommodates two families of four people with little kids. The big loft on the top floor and the separate bedroom on the ground floor provide good privacy, while the living room and big yard give the kids plenty of space to play. We enjoyed our breakfasts outside in the quiet yard. The house also stayed relatively cool in the summer heat and is very close to Cerro Beach for cooling off. The kitchen is a bit tired and there aren't enough bins to separate the waste, so you'll have to take many trips outside to clean up after meals. Francesca is very communicative and did a great job accommodating us. Some requests were addressed right away, and others fell through the cracks a little. But overall we really enjoyed our stay at Casa La Dolce Vita, and we would definitely stay here again. Thank you!
