On the fifth floor of one of Lugano’s most striking developments, this stylish, one-bedroom apartment offers a luxurious base for both business and leisure travellers. The Icon building’s communal facilities include a co-working space, a ground floor bar and restaurant with extensive outdoor seating, a gym and secure storage space. The light-filled apartment sleeps 4 people in considerable comfort. The living room has a large glass door that leads out onto a private balcony with a wooden table and two chairs, where you can dine al fresco and enjoy stunning views over the city and distant mountains. The stone-floored living area has a contemporary sofa, a flat-screen Smart TV and a dining table with 2 seats. In the immaculate, open plan kitchen you will find everything you might need during your stay: a cooker hob, microwave, fridge, freezer. Sleeping Bedroom 1: The master bedroom has a comfortable double bed and good wardrobe space. Extra: in the living room there is a sofa double bed. Bathroom The separate, stone-tiled bathroom has a glass shower, large basin and WC. The city hosts many festivals throughout the year, including the “Luganomusica” festival every summer. MASI (the Museum of Art of Italian Switzerland) (20-minute walk) hosts regular contemporary art exhibitions. A day trip on the Lago Lugano is a must, as is a walk along Lugano’s famous waterfront, with breathtaking views over the lake. From there, an aperitivo in Piazza della Riforma, the heart of the city, is a relaxing way to end the day. For business travellers, the apartment is just an 11-minute walk from the Centro Esposizioni Lugano exhibition centre and an 18-minute walk from the Palazzo Dei Congressi Lugano. The closest international airports are in Italy - Milan Malpensa 1 hour and 5 minutes away by car, or Milan Linate, a 1 hour and 20 minute journey. Arriving by train? Lugano’s railway station is a 25-minute walk from the apartment.

Great stay. One improvement: Just a small sheet / binder with basic info, i.e. where to purchase the red city trash bags, closest garbage collection points & how the system works + a small info on the laundry rooms, storage, parking etc. There's a lot of great services that kind of get missed out on without a small notice. The apartment was super clean, modern and beautiful! We also had a balcony which was super nice with the good weather in Lugano.☺️ Bed was comfortable, kitchen had everything you needed for a few easily done dishes, bathroom was clean + towels were inclusive. Additionally, David is a super kind host! Responsive, always available and very friendly. Location is just 7 minutes from the Lugano Stazione with the bus (nr 6). Definitely will come again ☀️

Very nice and light apartment with a spacious balcony, clean linen and towels. For those who travel by car, there’s parking. You can leave your car and take an elevator to the apartment, which is super convenient if you’re with luggage.

Es war mal etwas anderes als Hotel. Wir hatten zwar Glück mit dem Wetter und waren daher nicht viel „Zuhause“, bei schlechtem Wetter hätte es sich aber angenehm angegühlt auch mal den Abend in der Wohnung zu verbringen. Der Fernseh ist etwas kompliziert, eine einfachere Version dafür mit Replay Funktion wäre optimaler. Bett ganz ok, gut geschlafen. Auch gut isolierende Fenster.
