Munxar is a small village with a town square with a small selection of regional shops selling local produce and restaurants. Close to Munxar and a short car journey away you’ll find the beautifully rugged west coast and the famous Xlendi bay and Cliffs. Popular for its beach and shallow waters. The island can be conveniently travelled by car and public transport. Historical tours, treks and water sports can be conveniently booked and reached anywhere on the island. Victoria the capital of Gozo is a 5-minute car journey, here you’ll find many bars and restaurants as well grocery stores and the Island’s main Farmer’s market. Victoria is also home to the famous Citadel. Victoria has many museums and tours dedicated to the history of Gozo and Malta. Mgarr Harbour is 15 minutes away by car, home to the ferry terminal, with frequent ferries for the 25 min crossing to Cirkewwa Ferry Terminal on Malta with accessible public transport and highway connections to the international airport. The typical Mediterranean climate of Malta is sunny climate with a daily average of five to six hours of sunshine in midwinter and 12 hours in summer. The Summers are hot, dry, and very sunny. The remarkably mild winters with piercing blue skies make it ideal for long rambles in the lush and verdant countryside.
