The property is situated on the first floor of a historic building and enjoys an open-plan living space furnished with a comfortable sofa bed, a dining table with four chairs and a large flat-screen digital HDTV. This area also incorporates a small kitchenette fitted with a cooker hob, a coffee machine and a fridge freezer. Guests can soak up city life from the small balconies accessible from both the living space and bedroom. Many of the Belle Époque-style hotels and villas have been well-preserved, contributing to the town's enduring charm. The town’s main attractions are the Borromean Islands, a group of picturesque islands located just off the coast - Isola Bella, Isola Madre, and Isola dei Pescatori. These islands are known for their opulent palaces, well-manicured gardens, and captivating beauty. Visitors can take one of the ferries in the port (a 2-minute walk away) to explore the islands and immerse themselves in their rich history. Stresa is also a gateway to the scenic landscapes of the Italian Alps. The nearby Mottarone mountain offers panoramic views of Lake Maggiore and the surrounding area. Guests can also enjoy the beautiful lake-side hiking area of Passeggiata Lungo Lago, an 8-minute walk from the apartment and Lake Orta which is a 30-minute drive away. For golfers, Golf Club Alpino di Stresa is a 14-minute drive and for nature lovers, the beautiful villas of Stresa including Park Villa Pallavicino (a 2-minute drive / 12-minute walk) are nearby and easily reachable on foot. Ottima posizione, sia per l'imbarco per visitare le isole, sia per visitare Stresa. Ottimo bar per colazione a 30 mt dall'appartamento. Vicinissimi tanti posti ottimi per cenare. Appartamento molto carino, facilissimo sia check-in che checkout. Eravamo in 4, ci siamo stati bene.

Praticamente in centro storico, ma percorrendo i 40/50 mt del vicolo si era sul lago a pochi passi dalle partenze per le gite sul lago, molto silenzioso, locali nel giro di 50 metri, dai bar , ristoranti e gelaterie, un po’ meno facile il parcheggio. Consigliatissimo .
