An alpine retreat for 2 people, in the heart of Grangesises, an idyllic mountain village, this apartment is an ideal holiday destination at any time of year. On the second floor of an exclusive, chalet-style residence, the apartment is both stylish and practical. The living area, with green tiled floors, has a corner sofa facing a flatscreen digital TV, a large wooden dresser and a small balcony. Slightly separated from the seating area, and next to the kitchenette, is a wooden dining table with seating for 4 people. The open-plan kitchenette is equipped with a cooker hob, microwave and fridge. Sleeping The sofas in the living room convert into 2 comfortable single beds. Extra: There is also a bunk bed. Bathroom The tiled bathroom with large mirrors has a shower, basin, bidet and WC Additional • Free Wifi • Flat screen digital TV • Central heating • Electric radiators • Hair dryer • Laundry facilities • Ski storage & discounted ski rental for guests • Public parking, car recommended (but there is a ski shuttle bus nearby) • Child-friendly • Pets allowed • Nespresso machine A late-arrival surcharge applies: €20 for arrivals after 8pm and before 10pm, and €50 for arrivals between 10pm and midnight. Check-out is between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. Any early departure must be arranged in advance with the property. Location The chalet-style residence is in the charming village of Grangesises, just a 5-minute drive from the resort of Sestriere. The apartment building is in the middle of the village, close to the small piazza. There is very little traffic in the cobbled streets, making it a peaceful haven. However, Grangesises is far from dull and hosts many events throughout the year, from dances to concerts and group mountain bike rides. Sestriere, which hosted the 2006 Winter Olympics, has much to offer. In the winter months, the slopes around the resort suit skiers and snowboarders of all levels. There is cross-country skiing, heli-skiing, ice skating, motor sledging, dog sledging and snowshoeing. Our guests can purchase SkiPasses for the ViaLattea ski area directly in our Happy.Rentals office in Sestriere. During the summer months, Grangesises and its surroundings offer visitors a rich programme of entertainment, cultural and sports events for adults and children. There are sports days and fitness weekends with certified personal trainers. The location of the Grange Hike & Ski apartments is ideal for those in search of wilderness and unspoilt nature. The neighbouring valleys, such as the Argentera Valley and the Vallone di Thuras, offer a network of trails with varying degrees of difficulty, and it is possible to organise guided outings with environmental hiking guides by prior booking. There are also numerous routes in the area for mountain bike and downhill enthusiasts at all levels. For our guests, there are discounts in affiliated shops for e-bike and muscle bike hire. The nearby Sestriere offers an internationally renowned golf course (18 holes, par 65), a swimming pool and tennis courts. For the summer of 2023, the stages of the trial motorbike and enduro bike world championships are scheduled at the end of July, and in the first week of August the important international athletics meeting and the Sestriere film festival. History lovers should not miss the re-enactment of the battle of Assietta in July and the guided visits to the Fortress of Fenestrelle and the Chaberton museum in Claviere. In Grangesises and Sestriere there are many excellent restaurants and bars to suit all tastes and budgets. For self-catering, Sestriere offers supermarkets (the nearest is a 10-minute drive away) and small shops selling local specialities. Turin airport is 1 hour and 30 minutes' drive from the flat.

La struttura è carina, ben organizzata, vicina alle piste che si raggiungono in auto in pochi minuti. Sconsiglio l’autobus ( la fermata è vicina ma ne passano pochi). Prezzo buono. Arredo come da foto di booking Sotto il residence si trovano un ristorante bel valutato dalle recensioni, una pizzeria, un caffè -ristorante, un caffè e un piccolo minimarket che fa anche il caffè.

Camera spaziosa con un salone ed angolo cottura in unico locale, un bagno discretamente buono. C'erano la maggior parte dei servizi di cui una persona possa aver bisogno durante un soggiorno di quasi una settimana mentre un po' carente gli utensili da cucina.
