A day trip on the Lake, sailing between Switzerland and Italy is a must, as is an aperitivo in the city’s main square and historic centre, Piazza della Riforma. The lakeside, with its famous promenade, Parco Ciani (considered one of the most beautiful parks in Switzerland) and Swissminiatur, Switzerland's largest open-air miniature museum are all approximately within a 15-minute drive.
