Located just a short walk from ViaLattea ski slopes and Sestriere centre, this comfy and modern studio for 2 is ideal for year-round vacations. The ground-floor apartment has everything you need for a hassle-free stay and also enjoys a sunny location with tranquil mountain views. Restaurants, cafes, apres ski bars, ski rentals and supermarkets are all within a 10-minute walking radius. For soaking up the perennial beauty of the area, there are several valleys within a 15-20 minute drive from here; Valle Argentera (also great for hiking), and Valle di Thuras are a few of them. Guests can also soak up stunning alpine views whenever they want, at the Sestriere Panoramic Point located just a 2-minute walk from the apartment. For golfers, the Sestriere Golf Club is close by. And if you are looking for something fun to experience with the entire family, then the Husky Experience is just a 5-minute drive from here. Other than that, guests can enjoy cross-country skiing, heli-skiing, ice skating, motor sledging, dog sledging and snowshoeing in Sestriere. There is even an outdoor swimming pool (heated) which is open in the winter and summer months. During the summer months, Sestriere and its surroundings offer visitors a rich programme of entertainment, cultural and sports events for adults and children. There are sports days and fitness weekends with certified personal trainers. The location of the Grange Hike & Ski apartments is ideal for those in search of wilderness and unspoilt nature. The neighbouring valleys, such as the Argentera Valley and the Vallone di Thuras, offer a network of trails with varying degrees of difficulty, and it is possible to organise guided outings with environmental hiking guides by prior booking. There are also numerous routes in the area for mountain bike and downhill enthusiasts at all levels. For our guests, there are discounts in affiliated shops for e-bike and muscle bike hire. The nearby Sestriere offers an internationally renowned golf course (18 holes, par 65), a swimming pool and tennis courts. For the summer of 2023, the stages of the trial motorbike and enduro bike world championships are scheduled at the end of July, and in the first week of August the important international athletics meeting and the Sestriere film festival. History lovers should not miss the re-enactment of the battle of Assietta in July and the guided visits to the Fortress of Fenestrelle and the Chaberton museum in Claviere. In Grangesises and Sestriere there are many excellent restaurants and bars to suit all tastes and budgets. For self-catering, Sestriere offers supermarkets (the nearest is a 10-minute drive away) and small shops selling local specialities. Turin airport is 1 hour and 30 minutes' drive from the flat.
