We had an amazing holiday in villa louise, and enjoyed the stunning views !The villa had everything we needed for a great stay for all ages.The only slight downside for us was the location, there was a few lovely restaurants only a 10-15 minute walk away which was ok for us , however quite difficult for my nan as it was a very steep walk, taxis to menaggio were very difficult to come by and we only managed one trip to menaggio via taxi as it was 100 euros return for the 5 of us for a 9 minute drive, other than this we loved our stay.

The property was superb! The location, facilities, amenities, and ease of utilities were all top-notch. Communication with the help line was very smooth, making everything even better. We enjoyed a lovely view and felt safe throughout our stay. It was incredibly comfortable, and we had a fantastic time. Highly recommend for anyone planning a holiday in Como!

We traveled from NJ to this piece of heaven on earth. Hosr recommened a chef for one night of our stay...chef Daniela provided us with a feast. Overall this was an amazing experience!

Villa Louise is a jewel of the area. Its views are stunning with Belaggio, Varenna, and Dervio as well as the mouth of the lake heading towards Lecco. It is probably the only house with an in-ground pool within the area. The bedrooms are all very comfortable, the bathrooms plentiful and the kitchen/living room/dining room area ample for the 7 of us and can easily accommodate more. The basement has a washer and extra bathroom as well as a great game room that we made plenty use of. There is a grill outside that can easily cook about 12 hamburgers at once (just to give you an idea of size) and the grounds are really impressive. Monte Bregagno is behind the house and an amazing journey to take. There are also other incredibly beautiful villages on the way to Bregagno, so while you can drive up a great deal of the way up, I suggest hiking it for a day. Locanda Lauro within the town is a fabulous place to eat. Home cooked, friendly, and definitely a highlight of our trip. We will be back!

We had a wonderful time at Villa Louise and would go back in a minute. Very clean and very spacious. It was perfect for our family of 8. Centrally located for excellent restaurants within 10 minutes of villa. The pool was wonderful and the views were simply amazing no matter which direction you looked. A restaurant we would recommend is La Fattorra up high in the mountain. A wonderful experience and Highly recommended!!

August 2018 The villa was very nice, clean and spacious, and a great situation. Generally in good condition and well stocked and your handyman came quickly and fixed the small issues. Kids loved it and having the downstairs TV/games room was great. Very good for families. Freddie, UK

July 2016 I just want to thank you all for a wonderful week at Villa Louise on Lake Como. For a Family of 7 traveling together it was the best way to go. The house was great and had everything in it that we needed (except air conditioning), as you can tell since we only called once. The location of this home is absolutely wonderful, and the view is truly fantastic. We also really enjoyed the pool — such a great amenity to have during our stay. This house has so much potential and could be a real gem with a bit more care. That said, there were several cleanliness issues that were disappointing, especially from the perspective of a fellow Airbnb host. The floors hadn’t been properly cleaned, there was standing water in the dishwasher that smelled strongly of fish, and a dirty pan with fish residue had been left in the oven. Additionally, the mocha pot still had old coffee in it, which spilled when we opened it. With more attention to cleanliness and guest readiness, this home could easily be a five-star experience. I hope the host takes this feedback constructively, as the property itself is in a truly beautiful spot.

Villa Louise is a beautiful, well-equipped home with fabulous views and lovely facilities Plus points: pool with resident ducks, amazing views, plenty of crockery etc for a big group, great basement with pool, tables etc and on point acoustics for karaoke.- points: paying balance was stressful as links didn’t work, property is up seven hair pin bends which makes walking up & down (and driving in a big car) difficult, toiletries/hairdyers etc not generous, but we had been spoiled by previous property, and furnishings a little tired.Weather was against us for much of the time but Mother Nature provided a spectacular light show over the lake. Fab restaurant at the bottom of the hill - Loccario or similar.

Das Haus war bei Ankunft (16h) noch nicht geputzt, die Müllsäcke der Vorgänger standen noch in der Wohnung und es war sehr unordentlich. Nach unserem Telefonanruf kam die Putzgruppe und räumte auf. wir mussten ca. 1h warten, bis wir ins Haus hinein konnten. Ansonsten hatten wir einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt. Die Panoramalage ist einzigartig und die Ausstattung des Hauses war sehr gütig. Man sollte noch erwähnen, dass in der Nachbarschaft sich die Diskothek Papaya befindet und am Wochenende in der Nacht es sehr laut ist.

The house, property and views were beautiful! However the location for our group was a bit too rural. . A couple of people in our group could not manage the walk down to the bus stop due to the steepness. Taxi service was non existent, so we could not have dinner in Menaggio, as the buses stopped early.

Bonjour Situation de la maison très bonne: vue superbe , piscine pratique et chauffée , cour pour voitures Salle avec billard et baby foot sympa Un seul gros bémol : équipements ships ( cafetière ,sièges de Mauvaise qualité , poêles pas compatibles avec induction …) ca qui se résout facilement. Beautiful location in one of the smaller towns of Lake Como. We loved the restaurants right down the hill, and the walk to the lake is so nice. The kids enjoyed the pool and we spent a lot of time outside taking in the views. Easy drive to Menaggio for the ferry, and we drove to Lugano, Switzerland to go up Mount Bre funicular- amazing! The house has three bedrooms on the main level- two queen size and one twin. These all share two nice size hall bathrooms. Upstairs are two bedrooms- one with two twins(push together for a king) and one w a queen bed. Both of these have an en-suite bathroom. Nice kitchen and living areas. The kids played in the basement.

Great location, outdoor furniture looks tired and most sun beds broken or nearly broken. Bee nest somewhere near the pool, 3 people stung this week. Downstair bathrooms definitely need an update. We had a great time, plenty of space and well equipped kitchen. Fabulous views.

It was a reunion of 9 highschool friends from Indonesia. Staying at Lake Como is part of our reunion tour. After a long search at the internet, we chose Villa Louise. The reality is that Villa Louise is everything as described at the website. It was a beautiful villa, clean and well kept. The scenery was breath-taking, looking out to the beautiful Lake Como. The staff were very helpful and reacted adequately and very pleasantly to our needs! Also, the location of Villa Louise is centrally convenient; from there we made day- trips to Milaan,Torino , Venetie and to Switzerland. Last but not least, the team of Happy Holiday Homes and the local team was just perfect. Danillo and his staff are very helpful and the person we called at 01:30 am was also doing his best to help us find the way to the Villa.

Thanks for reaching out! I wanted to provide some feedback regarding our recent stay at Villa Louise. • First and foremost we really enjoyed the Villa. It was clean, well kept, and the scenery was amazing. • Everyone in the office was very nice and attentive to our needs. • Our activities included the following.. o Boat rental on Lake Como through Nautic Planet… I would highly suggest this to anyone. Such a great experience on a beautiful day. o We hiked from San Salvatore to Morcote on Lake Lugano. This was fantastic as well. A brief stop in the town of Carona for lunch at a place called La Sosta. Very good! o We hiked to the summit of Monta Grona via Riffugio Mennagio. This was the highlight of the trip for me and a must do for anyone that is a serious trekker! o We visited Lake Maggiore. Started at San Caterina del Sasso and took the boat over tho Stresa. From there we visited the Borromeo Islands. Another awesome day! o On Lake Como we visited the towns of Maggiore (often as this was the closest larger town), Varenna, Bellagio, and our "home town" of Rezzinico. In Bellagio we did a great hike that went through the suburban area. In Varenna we hiked up to the castle and visited the gardens. Both were great. Before we checked out on Saturday morning we strolled around Rezzinico. This was a highlight for sure. A sleepy little town that made for fantastic photography! o We also visited the town of Leno and Villa Balbianello. o On the way back to Milan we stopped in Como. Compared to the other towns we visited this was a major disappointment. Very urban. o We really enjoyed the market L'angolo delle Carni in Mennagio.. A few nights we picked up Cheese, Meats, and Wine at this shop and enjoyed from the picnic table at villa Louise! o We also got "take away" Pizza from the restaurant in Rezzinico. Very good! All in all we had a wonderful trip to Lake Como! I will tell all of my travel friends about our experience and be sure to recommend Happy Holiday Homes. As a matter of fact, I have already passed on your information to a few friends. Many were asking after seeing the photos on Facebook!

What a fantastic place ! the villa , the views, the tranquility.The villa is in a fabulous location and very well appointed. It is furnished and decorated to a high standard and is very comfortable. It was well equipped for use by nine adults both inside and out. Was ideal for a large group to eat inside or outside All rooms lived up to the expectations, photographs do not do the villa justice, it is certainly a place one would wish to return to. The directions to the villa were clear and easily followed to what could have been a hard location to find.Staff in the office were helpful.

Thanks. I've already written a glowing review of Villa Louise; it is superb!!! One couple in our group dined at the Michelin-starred Mistral in the Grand Hotel Villa Serbelloni in Bellagio for their anniversary. Expensive but well worth it was the report. Visitors should see the Santa Maria Assunta church in San Siro. It is a lovely building with beautiful frescos, and there is some interesting restoration work going on inside at present. We enjoyed the gelato on Piazza Garibaldi on several occasions; it's all good. And the little outdoor restaurant at the northern end of the Lido in Menaggio is inexpensive and very pleasant.

Our choice of Villa Louise to accommodate our large group of friends was a good one. Overall we were very happy with the house. The views were amazing and the hill-side aspect, outdoor space and large windows were excellent for taking in the lake vista. The lovely open kitchen, dining, lounge area was perfect for us and the house was very well-equipped with crockery, seating and DVDs etc for entertaining. The assistance from your company, prior to the rental and when we arrived was very good, thank you. Menaggio as a base, was excellent, and we had a lovely time staying on Lake Como, and in Villa Louise.

im Haus lag ein Papier mit der Bitte um Bewertung. Ich habe damals ganz viel auf diese Papier geschrieben. Schade, dass Sie das nicht gefunden haben. Jetzt ist viel Zeit vergangen. Insgesamt waren wir natürlich sehr zufrieden, denn das Haus ist ja wirklich sehr schön und alles noch ganz neu. Positiv ist die gute Ausstattung, insbesondere in der Küche. In vielen Ferienwohnungen oder -häusern gibt es viel zuwenig. Einziger negativer Punkt waren die Gartenmöbel. Die Plastikmöbel passen nicht so ganz zu dem Niveau des Hauses und ein Stuhl war kaputt. Das ist aber nur so eine Anmerkung und nicht wirklich schlimm. Herzlichen Gruß

Très belle maison, emplacement exceptionnel……mais malheureusement les équipements ne sont pas à la hauteur: ampoules manquantes, prises des lampes de chevet non adaptées, matelas défectueux, 6 verres et 6 petites cuillères pour 9, télécommandes TV défectueuses, réfrigérateur sans clayettes avec 1 seule étagère……il est claire que la maison manque de maintenance…… décevant, le rapport qualité prix n’y est pas….. dommage.

Die Lage des Hauses ist sehr schön und bietet eine hervorragende Sicht auf den See. Leider befindet sich in der Nähe eine Baustofffirma, deren Geräusche am Morgen zu hören sind. Bei unserer Ankunft war die Unterkunft nicht zufriedenstellend gereinigt, erst nach Rücksprache wurde nachgeputzt und auch der Pool wurde erst auf Anfrage gereinigt. Die Mängel wurden jedoch zügig und freundlich behoben; der Service war insgesamt bemüht. Insgesamt punktet das Haus durch die tolle Umgebung und die rasche Problemlösung, kleinere Schwächen bei der Sauberkeit und der Lage sollten Gäste jedoch berücksichtigen.

Our biggest complaint was the bee issue in the pool. Deigo was responsive to our WhatsApp messages and sent out a maintenance staff member, but using poison was not an option if we wanted to continue using the pool. We asked for a partial refund but it was never addressed. Overall we had a good five-night stay but the nature of the bees on the property made it difficult to enjoy the patio and pool at times.

WASTED POTENTIAL AT ITS BEST The house has been left and not maintained We arrived with no fridge working and had groceries we required chilled for us as everything closes and nothing is just down the road. We rang all the numbers supplied and not one call back. We eventually got in contact with the hosts at 10am the next day as we required the fridge. No one arrived until after we rang the office again to tell them we need something done after talking to Air Bnb about finding other accommodation. The broken shower head, the fridge sorted out which was great. A nice outdoor setting would make a big difference, the broken setting that was there was an embarrassment and the one we moved out had Band-Aid holding it together. The toilets all need fixing as they are so hard to flush. Pool dirty. Dead insects on the floor and very dusty. Needs cooling, one old tea towel only, on a positive amazing views, pool and amazing beach at the bottom of the hill. 5 star prices 2 star accommodation.

The property itself was very nice, it had great views and the size was just right for our group of 7. It was a 5 minute walk to a bus stop which got us to any town on Lake Como, we took the bus daily to Menaggio and one day to Como. A few things that were not that good: 1. When we arrived, there were ants crawling all over the kitchen countertops. 2. Outside of toilet paper, there were no paper products (paper towels, napkins) and no dishwasher detergent or dish soap which made it hard to clean the dishes. 3. The management company was not particularly helpful, difficult to reach by phone. It is a great place and location but the 3 items above detracted from our experience.

Plus: Die Größe des Hauses, die Aussicht, der Garten mit Pool. Für eine Familie mit Kindern ist das ein Ort, der sicherlich schön ist. Die Betten und Matrazen sind ok. Minus: Die Ausstattung ist überholungsbedürftig bzw. sehr einfach. Die Toilettenspülungen funktionieren teilweise nicht gut. Alle drei Liegestühle waren defekt. Die Stühle draußen waren alle schmutzig. Schade, das Haus hatte eine etwas gepflegtere und liebevollere Einrichtung verdient. Der Ausblick ist wirklich traumhaft.

The villa is very spacious and has a beautiful view of Lake Como. Great location, good access by car. Some improvement points: - bathroom doors did not lock - some furniture (table, chairs) were kept together with tape.. - bedding (blankets) can be nicer, not a very luxurious sleeping experience All in all a relaxing space for us (a group of friends) to hang out for a couple of days, but with a few adjustments this villa can be extra nice!
