One of the most historically significant archaeological sites in Greece, Ancient Olympia is renowned as the birthplace of the Olympic Games which were held in honour of the Greek God Zeus. The area around Floka also offers a number of natural attractions including Kaiafa Lake - a 25-minute drive away. A popular destination for relaxation and wellness, the lake is fed by a natural thermal spring believed to have therapeutic properties and offers a warm and soothing bathing experience. Visitors can easily combine a visit to the lake with a trip to the nearby sandy beaches along the Ionian Sea including Zacharo Beach (a 25-minute drive away). Wine lovers may want to visit Olympia Land Winery, which is located a 7-minute drive away from the property.
