This picture-perfect, wooden chalet on the mountainside above Livigno makes an ideal getaway at any time of year. During the winter months, guests can ski in and ski out directly. In the summer, visitors can walk straight out into unspoiled alpine meadows. This peaceful chalet sleeps 6 people. The entrance is down a small flight of steps and into a cosy entrance hall. The open-plan living area is conveniently furnished with everything you need for a comfortable stay. There is a corner sofa, flat-screen TV, coffee table and dining table with chairs, next to the open kitchen. The fitted kitchen is fully equipped with an induction hob, oven, dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer and coffee machine. The private garden has a dining table and chairs, with a parasol, for meals out in the fresh air with panoramic mountain views. There is also an electric hob outside for cooking al fresco. Sleeping Bedroom 1: This bedroom is built into the hillside and has a high window. It is furnished with joinable single beds and a wardrobe. Bedroom 2: The second bedroom, like the first bedroom, is built into the hillside with a window. It too has joinable single beds and a wardrobe. Extra: The sofa in the living room converts into a double bed. Bathroom The bathroom is well appointed with a full bath with showerhead, plus a basin, bidet and WC. It is very close to the ski slopes and just a 1 minute ski from the Carosello Gondola. Livigno has multiple activities all year round. The resort has 2 great activity parks, the Mottolino Snowpark, a snowboarders’ paradise (8 min drive) and the Carosello 3000 park, (10 min walk). Here you can find a wide variety of things to do, both in winter and summer: children’s activities, night skiing, heli-skiing and paragliding. In the summer months, Livigno is famous for its hiking, mountain bike trails and beautiful countryside including the famous Cascata della Val Nera waterfalls and picturesque mountain lakes. The area is home to 2 national parks Monte Motto and Parco Nazionale dello Stelvio, and Larix Park – a woodland adventure park. Linate airport, Milan, is a 3 hour and 20-minute drive whilst, Malpensa airport, Milan is a 3 hour and 35-minute drive from the apartment.
