The villa comprises 150sqm of bright and spacious lake view accommodation with many of the aspects overlooking the private lakefront balcony terrace with spectacular views for all the family to enjoy! A large and inviting living area with stone polished flooring is furnished with comfortable sofas and a SAT TV for guests’ entertainment. Guests can enjoy the fabulous direct lake views from the double aspect glass doors which lead from the living area to a sunny lakeside covered terrace and balcony ideal for alfresco dining! A bright and sunny separate kitchen is fully equipped with all the desired appliances including a cooker hob, oven, kettle, american style coffee machine and toaster with a lake view breakfast table to enjoy a relaxed morning coffee and brioche. Doors also open directly from the kitchen to the dining terrace outside, making it very convenient for dinner parties and entertaining during your stay. The sleeping accommodation is ideal for medium groups and families with three exceptionally spacious bedrooms comprising two lake view double bedrooms both with balcony access and a third lake view bedroom also enjoying balcony access and furnished with two single beds and a set of bunk beds. Two fully fitted modern bathrooms are provided in the property with one featuring a wet room power shower and conveniently a washing machine. The villa grounds provide the ideal place to relax and unwind during your stay with a sunny lawn, lakefront balcony and spacious covered alfresco lake view dining terrace. To the lake shore a shingle beach can also be enjoyed, providing the ideal place for a spot of lake swimming. A buoy also features off-shore from the villa, so guests have boat mooring for their personal/rental boat too. A private jetty is also due to be installed soon (please enquire for further details). The public Lido di Menaggio is just a 10 minutes’ drive away and provides a safe family friendly environment in which to swim with two outdoor swimming pools, a well maintained sandy beach with sun loungers and on site family facilities. As well as being an historically charming part of Lake Como San Siro also provides many useful local amenities including a grocery shop, cafes, boat mooring at the nearby Nobiallo Marina and a frequent bus service to the north of the lake and to Menaggio and Como city in the south. The picturesque resort town of Menaggio provides a wide selection of amenities as well as easy access to the many central lake attractions. Activities in the locality include sailing, kayaking, water sports, swimming, cycling, tennis, horse riding and golf. **Due to the central location of the villa, some road noise can be heard from the villa.**

Amazing villa. The veranda was wonderful with breathtaking view of Lake Como. Completely stocked kitchen. Just need a few spices. Town with 2 nice restaurants and shops within walking distance. Would go back in a heartbeat.

June 2016 We had one of our best holidays ever at Villa Al Lago and this was down to 2 things: (1) the stunningly beautiful location and setting of the Villa right by Lake Como where we spent many a relaxing hour on the open terrace and by the lake shore itself, and (2) the wonderful service we received from your company. In advance of our stay, the informative emails we received were very helpful; Danilo was invaluable in helping arrange a private boat rental and personal chef for us; and upon arrival the team were very quick to respond to our complaint regarding initial cleanliness of the villa. We had a most relaxing holiday. Varenna was our favourite place to visit and we had many a pleasant evening dining out and getting ice cream in Menaggio. Bellisimo! We will definitely be using HappyHolidayHomes for our next holidays and intend on returning to lake Como too! Thanks for giving us such a wonderful experience, Rebecca, UK

We loved staying in San Siro, it was so peaceful and beautiful! We were just a short drive from Menaggio and the attractions of the central lake too! We had a great time windsurfing from Cremia and taking a power boat out in the sun! Our holiday home was very spacious and welcoming, with a FAB lake view dining terrace!! Thanks very much for an unforgettable lake escape!

We've really enjoyed staying in Villa Al Lago this July! San Siro was a really easy drive from Menaggio and ferry port so we found it very convenient for getting around. The villa offered us the perfect versatile accommodation for our group of 6 and we were all totally bowled over by the breathtaking views! We felt so free and at home in this place and the HHH team were so great at helping us make the most of our stay, so thank you very much!

November 2012 My family and I enjoyed a really great stay by the lake! It was really peaceful at this time of year and because we come here most summers we already know the attractions. We like exploring the walks and enjoying the beautiful towns out of season! This villa was very spacious and perfect for myself, my wife and our grown up children. There was a great lake view kitchen and we enjoyed sitting out on the terrace because the sun was still very nice for us, even in November! I would say the living room is quite old fashioned, however all the bedrooms were very nice and the villa had lots to offer besides. San Siro was really easy to get to and the routes we enjoyed most were the short Antica Strada Regina, the route from Breglia to Rezzonico, the San Martino climb and the Greenway del Lago from Griante to Colonno. Thank you to the HHH team, you were helpful and friendly as always! See you again in the summer!
