Relax in this luxurious, 5th-floor apartment in the heart of Lugano. Novos Arcadia is a stylish apartment for 6 people in the historic centre of the city. Whether you are in Lugano for business or an exciting city break, this is the ideal option to get the most out of the city. The spacious apartment is beautifully laid out with the rooms leading off a central hallway. Guests will enjoy the panoramic views across the rooftops to the mountains beyond the city. The living/dining room is furnished with a contemporary sofa, armchairs, coffee table and a dining table for 6. The spacious modern kitchen is well equipped with a cooker hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and Nespresso machine. There is also a dining table in the kitchen for quick snacks and double glass doors lead out onto a small private balcony. Please note: refurbishment work will take place on the floor below from Monday to Friday (09:00–12:00 / 13:30–16:30), which may cause some noise. Sleeping The apartment has 3 comfortable bedrooms, which are furnished with king-size double beds and wardrobes. Bathrooms Bathroom 1: This newly fitted bathroom has a full bath with a shower head, basin, washing machine and WC. Bathroom 2: A glamorous marble bathroom appointed with a glass shower, basin and WC. Additional • Free Wifi • Balcony • Lift • Washing machine & dryer • Laptop-friendly workspace • Air conditioning • Central heating • Hair dryer • Public parking but car not necessary • Suitable for elderly guests • Wheelchair access • Pets possible • Paid Public Parking Note: A security deposit of CHF500 is required for groups under 21. Location Lugano is packed with interesting activities and sights and the apartment’s central location makes it very easy to explore the city on foot. The Palazzo dei Congressi events centre is a quick 6-minute walk, in the Parco Ciani (5 minutes) which offers stunning views of the lake. A day trip on the Lago Lugano is a must. Lugano Centrale ferry terminal is just a 4-minute walk from the apartment. Lugano’s famous waterfront, with breathtaking views over the lake, is close by. Another favourite is Piazza della Riforma (3-minute walk), the heart of the city. It is a beautiful square lined with excellent restaurants and cafés. For self-catering, there are many excellent food shops in the city, as well as the farmers market on Tuesday and Friday which is almost on your doorstep in Via Carducci (2 minutes walk). The closest international airports are in Italy - Milan Malpensa 1 hour and 10 minutes away by car, or Milan Linate, a 1 hour and 30 minute journey.

The apartment is as beautiful as the photos you see. The location is extremely convenient, on the doorstep of the old town and main shopping areas, 5-6 minutes away from Migros, a 2-3 minute walk from the lakefront, and less than 10 minutes away from Parco Ciani. It had everything we needed and more, everything was super thoughtful and they surprised us with a bottle of Champagne upon arrival. The apartment is spacious, with 2 bathrooms, and a washing machine which came in super handy mid-way through our trip. Really clean, and just overall a delightful stay.

We had a great stay in Sonja’s apartment in Lugano. The apartment was spotless, with access to all the amenities one could need while travelling. The 3-bedrooms are a great find you’ll see nowhere else. The washer/dryer combination was super efficient as well. The building was still under some construction, but they seem to be nearing the end of construction process. The property was in a great location; right in the center of Lugano and minute walk from the lake front. Could not recommend this place enough!

The apt is exactly as described - it is large, very well appointed and very clean - we were six and it was a very pleasant stay. Location wise - could not be better ! Only downside is that the building is currently being renovated and thus there is heavy construction during the day. We were proactively told about this by the landlord and chose to keep the booking.

I recently stayed in this apartment unit, and I was impressed by its spaciousness and cleanliness. The unit was well-maintained, and I appreciated the attention to detail. However, there were some issues that affected my stay. The freeze and fridge weren't working and was disconnected prior to my arrival. The washer and dryer unit is one machine that does both, didn't dry clothes very well. Additionally, the lack of trash cans in the bathrooms and bedrooms was noticeable. One thing that would have been helpful is a more detailed description of the main building entrance location and a manual with essential information like the WiFi password. The biggest drawback, however, was the construction noise coming from the apartment next door and/or above. The hammering and drilling started at 8 am and was quite annoying. It would have been great if the host had mentioned this in the description, as it might have affected my booking decision. Despite these issues,the apartment had positives
