Location Whether you are in Lugano for business or pleasure, there is plenty for you to enjoy during your stay. The apartment’s central location makes it very easy to explore the city on foot. Lugano is in the Italian-speaking region of Switzerland and combines the best of both cultures. This heritage is celebrated at MASI (the Museum of Art of Italian Switzerland) (20-minute walk). A day trip on the Lago Lugano is a must. Lugano Centrale ferry terminal is only a 3-minute walk from the apartment. Lugano’s famous waterfront, with breathtaking views over the lake, is close by. Another favourite is Piazza della Riforma (2-minute walk), the heart of the city. It is a beautiful square lined with good restaurants and cafés. For self-catering, there are many excellent food shops in the city, as well as the farmers market on Tuesday and Friday in Via Carducci (5 minutes walk). The closest international airports are in Italy - Milan Malpensa 1 hour and 10 minutes away by car, or Milan Linate, a 1 hour and 30 minute journey.

The property is clean and kitchen is well equipped for our stay. Sonja, was very responsive, efficient and prompt in responding to my request. It is also strategically located with a couple of luxury boutiques (Hermes, Moncler and Rolex) is just 50m away as well as restaurants, pharmacies and shopping malls within very short walking distance. Parking is not available on site but you can park at the public parking space behind the property which will probably set you back at CHF16 for a night which is quite acceptable for city parking. Check in and check out was seamless. Will definitely stay here again when we are back. We totally enjoyed our stay. It felt so much like home.

Comfortable for a family of 5 with the pullout couch for additional sleeping. Great location, walking distance to restaurants, shops and lakefront. Space was clean and comfortable. AC was great. Incorrect entrance code given, which made for a stressful check-in. WiFi password needed to be requested, instead of being provided in the property or in the check-in letter.

This was a very nice, clean apartment for our trip to Lugano. The air conditioner worked great! We did have a few issues/notes for improvement. There was no hand soap provided in the bathroom, so we had to buy our own. On our last night, the code to enter the main building was changed and we got no notification. I messaged through airbnb explaining the issue, and got a response 30 minutes later redirecting me to a list of local contacts for the agency instead of an immediate solution. Thankfully, a family exited the building and told us about the new code. The same thing had happened to them that morning. Also be aware this property is managed by a rental agency (not really sure why it is even on airbnb). This means instead of all information coming through the airbnb app, you have to go through their portal to create an account. They also send information through email instead of through airbnb features. It would be nice to get information actually through airbnb.

The location of the apartment is absolutely unbeatable, super central and within walking distance to everything you might need in Lugano. Right next to the building there is a convenient paid parking area, which made it really easy for us to park and reach the apartment on foot. The check-in process was seamless and efficient thanks to a code system, which allowed for a hassle-free and flexible arrival. The apartment is located on the top floor, which gives it a nice, quiet feel. It’s either new or recently renovated, and it shows: everything was pretty clean, and the apartment nicely decorated. It’s a cozy and pleasant space to stay in, especially if you’re looking for something central and modern.

Schöne, zentrale Wohnung mitten in Lugano. Alles ist zu Fuss erreichbar, Einkaufsläden sind in unmittelbarer Nähe. Die Wohnung ist modern und praktisch eingerichtet, das nötigste ist vorhanden. Da und dort fehlt es jedoch an Ablageflächen zB für Kleider (Bad, Schlafzimmer) und ein paar Kissen auf dem Sofa würden das Ganze ein bisschen komfortabler machen. Dasselbe in der Küche - das nötigste ist da, um richtig zu kochen fehlt dann aber doch das eine oder andere (zB Sparschäler, Schneidebrett, Schalen für Müsli etc). Alles in allem ein schöne Wohnung mit einem stolzen Preis, den man wohl vorallem aufgrund der sehr zentralen Lage bezahlt.

Incorrect entrance code given, which made for a stressful check-in. WiFi password needed to be requested, instead of being provided in the property or in the check-in letter.

This was a very nice, clean apartment for our trip to Lugano. The air conditioner worked great! We did have a few issues/notes for improvement. There was no hand soap provided in the bathroom, so we had to buy our own. On our last night, the code to enter the main building was changed and we got no notification. I messaged through airbnb explaining the issue, and got a response 30 minutes later redirecting me to a list of local contacts for the agency instead of an immediate solution. Thankfully, a family exited the building and told us about the new code. The same thing had happened to them that morning. Also be aware this property is managed by a rental agency (not really sure why it is even on airbnb). This means instead of all information coming through the airbnb app, you have to go through their portal to create an account. They also send information through email instead of through airbnb features. It would be nice to get information actually through airbnb.

The location of the apartment is absolutely unbeatable, super central and within walking distance to everything you might need in Lugano. Right next to the building there is a convenient paid parking area, which made it really easy for us to park and reach the apartment on foot. The check-in process was seamless and efficient thanks to a code system, which allowed for a hassle-free and flexible arrival. The apartment is located on the top floor, which gives it a nice, quiet feel. It’s either new or recently renovated, and it shows: everything was pretty clean, and the apartment nicely decorated. It’s a cozy and pleasant space to stay in, especially if you’re looking for something central and modern.

Schöne, zentrale Wohnung mitten in Lugano. Alles ist zu Fuss erreichbar, Einkaufsläden sind in unmittelbarer Nähe. Die Wohnung ist modern und praktisch eingerichtet, das nötigste ist vorhanden. Da und dort fehlt es jedoch an Ablageflächen zB für Kleider (Bad, Schlafzimmer) und ein paar Kissen auf dem Sofa würden das Ganze ein bisschen komfortabler machen. Dasselbe in der Küche - das nötigste ist da, um richtig zu kochen fehlt dann aber doch das eine oder andere (zB Sparschäler, Schneidebrett, Schalen für Müsli etc). Alles in allem ein schöne Wohnung mit einem stolzen Preis, den man wohl vorallem aufgrund der sehr zentralen Lage bezahlt.
