A chic city retreat in the heart of Lugano. This 2nd floor, 2 bedroom, flat sleeps 6 people and is the perfect choice for either a family holiday or a working trip to the beautiful city of Lugano on the shores of the Lago di Lugano. The wooden-floored, air-conditioned apartment is laid out around a large entrance hall. The living room has a picture window and a glass door, leading onto a balcony, overlooking the street. There is a comfortable sofa (which converts into a double bed), a large Smart TV and a contemporary dining table with 6 chairs. It is really a home-away-from-home. The modern, stylish kitchen is fully equipped with an induction hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer and a Nespresso machine. A large glass door leads out onto another balcony. Sleeping Bedroom 1: The bright master bedroom has a comfortable double bed, stylish storage, and a large desk and chair, which can be used as a workstation. Bedroom 2: A sunny room with a large window and 2 single beds, good storage Extra: The sofa in the living room converts into a double bed. Bathrooms Bathroom 1: An en suite bathroom for bedroom 1. This slate-tiled bathroom has a glass shower, large basin and WC. Bathroom 2: A separate bathroom with a glass shower, large basin, bidet and WC. Additional • Free Wifi • Central heating • Washing machine & dryer • Laptop friendly workspace • Hairdryer • Paid Public Parking • Child-friendly • Elderly friendly • Slightly noisy • Air-conditioning Please note that renovation work will take place from January 5th to June 15th 2026. Location The apartment is situated in the middle of Lugano, just a 5-minute walk from the lakeside and 8 minutes from the central square, the Piazza della Riforma. In the Italian-speaking, Ticino canton of Switzerland, the city of Lugano is well known for its rich cultural heritage and stunning natural setting. On the banks of the Lago di Lugano, the waterfront walk is not to be missed. Or take a day trip out on the lake, to really appreciate the magnificent scenery. Back on land, Lugano is home to a wide variety of museums, including the Museum of Art of Italian Switzerland (MASI), just a 5-minute walk from the apartment, one of Switzerland’s most popular cultural centres. The Renaissance cathedral of San Lorenzo (10 mins walk) is known for its splendid architecture inside and out. For magnificent views out over the city, lakes and mountains head for the funicular railway up to Monte San Salvatore (25 mins walk). The closest international airports are in Italy - Milan Malpensa 1 hour and 10 minutes away by car, or Milan Linate, a 1 hour and 20 minute journey. Arriving by train? Lugano’s railway station is a 12 minute walk from the apartment.

Everything was great. Agree with previous reviews that it’s noisy on a Saturday night with a restaurant right underneath. But it was nothing terrible. Place isn’t equipped with air conditioners so can be hot in the Summer months. Place is absolutely great with all clean common areas, equipped with modern amenities and comfortable beds, including sofabed. Would definitely go again.

Most of the things are excellent in the apartment. But there are few things that can be improved. The closets are not usable because the drawers do not slide. Instead of one Dishwasher tablet, providing 3-5 would be useful. Also the shower gel was barely enough for 2 weeks. Rest was very good.

Lo mejor es la ubicación, en el centro de Lugano, cerca de todo. Los departamentos son grandes, con buenos espacios, caben sin problemas las personas que se indica. Solo faltan algunas cosas prácticas, de poco valor que hacen la vida más fácil, por ejemplo lugar para poner el jabón y shampoo en la ducha o más bolsas para dejar la basura. Es poco lo que falta para que sea excelente.

The apartment was very spacious, host very responsive, we had extra towels and plenty of pillows. They fixed an issue with the shower within the hour. The apartment had also a great location, close to the lake and the main center. The host had a Prosecco waiting for us, such a nice touch. Thank you! The only thing we didn’t enjoy was the Sugar Bar restaurant below with the loudest music and karaoke Saturday night. We managed to sleep closer to 3AM. Kids couldn’t sleep either. When we didn’t have music from three bar we had construction work noise during the morning. Not the hosts fault but we didn’t have good sleep due to the Bar downstairs and work in the building.

This apartment had two bedrooms each with their own bathroom. It was located very close to the lake (about a 5-10 minute walk), restaurants and the best gelato in town. It was also close (less than 5 minutes) to a grocery store and the local bus station. It was central and very convenient. It was easy to get into and very clean.

The location of the flat is really great and the rooms are modern. However, some details made the stay not that comfortable. First of all, we couldn't use the balcony, since the door was apparently locked. We texted the Hosts on the provided Whats App number one hour after our check-in, but never received any response during our stay. Secondly, the flat is located in a house with a bar/cafe on the ground floor. On Saturday night, the music from the bar was really loud and made it hard to sleep until two or three in the morning (even if the bar is officially only open until one). I think, such a potential drawback of a flat should be mentioned in the description.

Everything was great. Agree with previous reviews that it’s noisy on a Saturday night with a restaurant right underneath. But it was nothing terrible. Place isn’t equipped with air conditioners so can be hot in the Summer months. Place is absolutely great with all clean common areas, equipped with modern amenities and comfortable beds, including sofabed. Would definitely go again.

Most of the things are excellent in the apartment. But there are few things that can be improved. The closets are not usable because the drawers do not slide. Instead of one Dishwasher tablet, providing 3-5 would be useful. Also the shower gel was barely enough for 2 weeks. Rest was very good.

Lo mejor es la ubicación, en el centro de Lugano, cerca de todo. Los departamentos son grandes, con buenos espacios, caben sin problemas las personas que se indica. Solo faltan algunas cosas prácticas, de poco valor que hacen la vida más fácil, por ejemplo lugar para poner el jabón y shampoo en la ducha o más bolsas para dejar la basura. The apartment was very spacious, host very responsive, we had extra towels and plenty of pillows. They fixed an issue with the shower within the hour. The apartment had also a great location, close to the lake and the main center. The host had a Prosecco waiting for us, such a nice touch. Thank you! The only thing we didn’t enjoy was the Sugar Bar restaurant below with the loudest music and karaoke Saturday night. We managed to sleep closer to 3AM. Kids couldn’t sleep either. When we didn’t have music from three bar we had construction work noise during the morning. Not the hosts fault but we didn’t have good sleep due to the Bar downstairs and work in the building.

This apartment had two bedrooms each with their own bathroom. It was located very close to the lake (about a 5-10 minute walk), restaurants and the best gelato in town. Appartement idéalement situé proche du centre de Lugano! Fonctionnel, propre, spacieux. Bien accueillis, avec une bouteille de Prosecco et des petits sets pour la vaisselle et la douche. :-) A recommander ! Seul point négatif, mais nous le savions dès le départ, ce sont les places de parking.

It is a nice apartment in a top-notch location right next to the park. The company owns a number of the apartments in the building and leases them all. The place is well-designed and convenient - two bathrooms are isolated and comfortable.

The location of the flat is really great and the rooms are modern. However, some details made the stay not that comfortable. First of all, we couldn't use the balcony, since the door was apparently locked. We texted the Hosts on the provided Whats App number one hour after our check-in, but never received any response during our stay. Secondly, the flat is located in a house with a bar/cafe on the ground floor. On Saturday night, the music from the bar was really loud and made it hard to sleep until two or three in the morning (even if the bar is officially only open until one). I think, such a potential drawback of a flat should be mentioned in the description.
