This was a great place for our family to stay: comfortable and quiet for sleeping, easy to cook simple meals in the kitchen, enough space for the kids to spread out, very useful to have washing machine and dishwasher. The balcony space was pretty and we ate outside a few times. It was a short(but steep!) walk to the bus stop, mini grocery store, ferry boat landing. It was also easy to hike from there to some gorgeous spots (sasso San Martino). The downside for our family was that we hadn’t realized before reserving that this is managed by an office, not an individual. Therefore we needed to go to another town to get the keys. It isn’t far but it was a challenge for our family traveling with kids by public transportation. Secondly, although they left a “welcome kit” that was very kind and lovely white linens, there was no salt, olive oil or other such essentials that people often leave in Airbnbs. We left dish soap, salt, laundry detergent and some other things for next guests.

Een ruim appartement met een zeer mooi uitzicht. Enkel jammer dat er maar 1 airco aanwezig was in een slaapkamer, hierdoor was de living en de bovenste slaapkamer zeer warm.

This apartment is in a great location. It is close to the small town of Griante with restaurants and small grocery. It is also within walking distance of the ferries. The apartment has a beautiful view of Lake Como. We were able to eat out on the balcony and it was very enjoyable. The kitchen is also well equipped. A few issues that need to be addressed by the management, We didn't have wifi for 3 days. We arrived on Saturday and didn't have wifi until Tuesday. Even though this was a holiday weekend someone from the office could have come to the apartment and resolved it Saturday after we checked ion. As a result all of us had to use expensive cellular data to conduct our online business. Also both of the bathrooms are in a state of disrepair. The shower doors attached to the bathtub are held together with masking tape. The shower doors in the other bathroom don't close because one of the doors is off it's track. The shower head also will not stay up and slowly falls down as you take a shower. Bath towels are very thin. A little work on the part of the management would make this a much more pleasant apartment.
