Con una favolosa terrazza soleggiata con vista lago, questa proprietà si trova in una residenza esclusiva costruita nell'antico parco di una villa nobiliare nell'affascinante e ben servita località di Fiumelatte. La proprietà rimodernata è ideale per piccoli e medi gruppi fino a 6 persone con un ampio soggiorno a pianta aperta con divano, TV a schermo piatto e accesso diretto alla splendida terrazza attraverso porte-finestre. Una zona pranzo per gruppi fino a 6 persone è situata nella stanza a pianta aperta con vista sul lago e una elegante cucina separata, arredata in stile moderno e dotata di elettrodomestici all' avanguardia, ideale per una confortevole vacanza in autonomia, è situata fuori dal soggiorno. Gli elettrodomestici includono un forno a gas, un tostapane, un bollitore, un forno a microonde e una macchina per il caffè. La soleggiata terrazza vista lago è di dimensioni estremamente generose con spazio sufficiente per prendere il sole sui lettini e per cenare all'aperto, con una vista panoramica incredibile sulle famose città del Triangolo d'Oro di Varenna, Bellagio e Menaggio! Il divano letto matrimoniale nel soggiorno può essere utilizzato anche per ospitare ulteriori ospiti a seconda delle necessità. Il moderno bagno dotato di doccia elettrica, lavabo, WC, bidet e lavatrice completa la proprietà e un garage privato si trova nella zona recintata. La bella città è molto popolare anche tra i più romantici che sono attratti dalle sue piazze alberate con negozi di boutique, il suoi graziosi caffè sul lago con il suo panoramico lungolago e i raffinati ristoranti con vista lago che si trovano nei numerosi hotel della città della sponda orientale. Un veloce e frequente servizio di traghetti per auto e passeggeri collega la città a Bellagio e Menaggio, rendendo tutte le altre attrazioni del centro lago molto accessibili. Le attività del lago centrale comprendono il nuoto sul lago e il lido, il golf, il tennis, gli sport acquatici, la vela, il kayak, il parapendio, le escursioni a piedi e in bicicletta.

Had a fantastic stay in the apartment, we used it as a base to explore the lake. We didn’t have a car, and although it would have been convenient to have one, it was fine to walk to the train station which is 4 mins on foot away or Varenna ferry port which is 25 mins away (at a leisurely pace). The highlight of the property has to be the terrace which is gigantic, with panoramic views of the middle lake. There was a thoughtful welcome package of wine and breakfast supplies when we arrived which was nice as there are no grocery stores in Fiumelatte. The self check-in instructions where very detailed and clear, however the elevator wasn’t working and there was an assumption that everyone would drive to the location, which I suppose most would. We did however find a much easier set of stairs just a bit further to the right (facing the parking garage) which led straight up to a fountain and the property on the right, so we did that everyday instead of the instructed route. Would return!

Lovely location and views were stunning. Exactly what we needed for our trip. Would definitely return. Arrival instructions could definitely be clearer, the lockbox is located very far from the front door which we also struggled to find. Other than that it was great.

Pros: THE VIEW Size of the apartment Garage for the car Towels and bedlinen available Easy check-in and check-out Short walk for a swim in the lake Well equiped kitchen in terms om hardware like oven, freezer etc (tableware/ kitchen utensils was lacking a little bit though) It’s possible to walk to Varenna Cons: Chairs/table on terrace gave us all an unpleasant itch on legs and under-arms + chairs made our clothes white. Perhaps it was glass fibre dust or something from the chairs/table that caused the itch. Very strange why there is no parasol/sun-umbrella available for the terrace. We had to bring one from home, since otherwise it’s way too hot to make use of the fantastic terrace. Wi-fi didn’t work Travelers tip: If you’re going out for dinner, pre-book a table!

Fantastic rooftop terrace to enjoy views of Lake Como, and to enjoy the sunset. This is a very simple apartment, with basic interior and cooking utensils suited for 2-3 guests (though the value here is the view!), along with a car park which is very handy. You’ll need a car for this location, and Varenna is a 5 minute drive to restaurants, shops, and boat hire. Very responsive host agency.

The balcony has an awesome view of the area which was the main reason I booked this place. I enjoyed the balcony a lot. The property management was very responsible and answered questions quickly while I was there. The garage is first come first serve but we were able to park with no problem. There are also parking outside the structure. The downside was that the place was not as clean as expected as some of the other comments mentioned. There were 8 spiders hanging on the ceiling in the living room and I found some more in the bathroom. Definitely not a good choice if you are afraid of spiders. However I got this place for the view and I was ok with it. The walk to Varenna was beautiful as well and only takes 15-20min.
