Deze gemoderniseerde woning met een fantastisch zonneterras met uitzicht op het meer ligt in een exclusieve residentie die is gebouwd op het oude terrein van een adellijke villa in het charmante en goed verzorgde dorp Fiumelatte. De gemoderniseerde woning is ideaal voor kleine tot middelgrote groepen tot 6 personen en heeft een ruime open woonkamer met bank, flatscreen-tv en directe toegang via openslaande deuren naar het prachtige terras. Een eethoek voor maximaal 6 personen bevindt zich in de open ruimte met uitzicht op het meer en een stijlvolle aparte keuken met een eigentijdse afwerking en moderne apparatuur, ideaal voor een comfortabele self-catering vakantie, bevindt zich naast de woonkamer. Tot de apparatuur behoren een gasfornuis, broodrooster, waterkoker, magnetron en koffiezetapparaat. Het zonnige terras met uitzicht op het meer is zeer ruim en biedt voldoende plaats om te zonnebaden op de ligstoelen en om buiten te eten, met een fantastisch panoramisch uitzicht op de beroemde steden Varenna, Bellagio en Menaggio in de Gouden Driehoek! Het adembenemende uitzicht op het meer vormt echt de meest memorabele achtergrond voor uw vakantie hier en is werkelijk uniek met uitzicht op het omliggende terrein van de oude villa met zijn historische grotfontein en de beroemde rivier Fiumelatte die langs het appartement stroomt. De woning is ideaal voor 4-6 gasten met een ruime hoofdslaapkamer met een tweepersoonsbed die uitkomt op een zonnig balkonterras en een tweede slaapkamer met een klein tweepersoonsbed en een bureau. De tweepersoonsslaapbank in de woonkamer kan ook worden gebruikt om extra gasten te huisvesten wanneer dat nodig is. Een moderne badkamer met een krachtige douche, wastafel, toilet, bidet en wasmachine maakt de woning compleet en er is een privégarage op het omheinde terrein. Huisdieren zijn niet toegestaan. Het pittoreske dorpje Fiumelatte biedt gasten een lokale kruidenier, bakker en een authentiek Italiaans restaurant dat ideaal is om uit eten te gaan, evenals een prachtige ligging aan het meer, omgeven door oude villa's, herenhuizen en weelderige tuinen rond de sfeervolle rivier Fiumelatte. Het dorp profiteert ook van een frequente busdienst, een hoofdstation met verbindingen naar Lecco en Milaan en een weg langs het meer die u in enkele minuten rechtstreeks naar de badplaats Varenna brengt! Varenna is de perfecte stad om tijdens uw verblijf te verkennen, met de beroemde bezienswaardigheden van Villa Monastero met zijn botanische tuinen en het oude Castello di Vezio met zijn valkerij- en middeleeuwse tentoonstellingen tijdens de zomer. Het prachtige stadje is ook erg populair bij romantici die zich aangetrokken voelen tot de met bomen omzoomde pleinen met boetiekjes, de mooie cafés aan het meer met hun schilderachtige promenade en de restaurants met prachtig uitzicht op het meer die te vinden zijn in de vele hotels in het stadje aan de oostelijke oever. Er rijdt een snelle en frequente auto- en passagiersveerboot van de stad naar Bellagio en Menaggio, waardoor de andere centrale attracties aan het meer allemaal goed bereikbaar zijn. Activiteiten in het centrale deel van het meer zijn onder andere zwemmen in het meer en aan het strand, golfen, tennissen, watersporten, zeilen, kajakken, paragliden, wandelen en fietsen.

Had a fantastic stay in the apartment, we used it as a base to explore the lake. We didn’t have a car, and although it would have been convenient to have one, it was fine to walk to the train station which is 4 mins on foot away or Varenna ferry port which is 25 mins away (at a leisurely pace). The highlight of the property has to be the terrace which is gigantic, with panoramic views of the middle lake. There was a thoughtful welcome package of wine and breakfast supplies when we arrived which was nice as there are no grocery stores in Fiumelatte. The self check-in instructions where very detailed and clear, however the elevator wasn’t working and there was an assumption that everyone would drive to the location, which I suppose most would. We did however find a much easier set of stairs just a bit further to the right (facing the parking garage) which led straight up to a fountain and the property on the right, so we did that everyday instead of the instructed route. Would return!

Lovely location and views were stunning. Exactly what we needed for our trip. Would definitely return. Arrival instructions could definitely be clearer, the lockbox is located very far from the front door which we also struggled to find. Other than that it was great.

Perhaps it was glass fibre dust or something from the chairs/table that caused the itch. Very strange why there is no parasol/sun-umbrella available for the terrace. We had to bring one from home, since otherwise it’s way too hot to make use of the fantastic terrace. Wi-fi didn’t work Travelers tip: If you’re going out for dinner, pre-book a table!

Fantastic rooftop terrace to enjoy views of Lake Como, and to enjoy the sunset. This is a very simple apartment, with basic interior and cooking utensils suited for 2-3 guests (though the value here is the view!), along with a car park which is very handy. You’ll need a car for this location, and Varenna is a 5 minute drive to restaurants, shops, and boat hire. Very responsive host agency.

The balcony has an awesome view of the area which was the main reason I booked this place. I enjoyed the balcony a lot. The property management was very responsible and answered questions quickly while I was there. The garage is first come first serve but we were able to park with no problem. There are also parking outside the structure. The downside was that the place was not as clean as expected as some of the other comments mentioned. There were 8 spiders hanging on the ceiling in the living room and I found some more in the bathroom. Definitely not a good choice if you are afraid of spiders. However I got this place for the view and I was ok with it. The walk to Varenna was beautiful as well and only takes 15-20min.
