Locatie
Het pand ligt in de Kroatische hoofdstad Zagreb, op 3 minuten rijden (11 minuten lopen) van de 19e-eeuwse benedenstad van de stad (Donji Grad) en op 8 minuten rijden (18 minuten lopen) van de middeleeuwse bovenstad (Gornji Grad), zodat gasten gemakkelijk alles kunnen verkennen wat Zagreb te bieden heeft. De historische bovenstad biedt bezienswaardigheden zoals de San Marco-kerk met het kleurrijke pannendak, de Lotrščak-toren en de Zagreb-kathedraal.
Voor natuurliefhebbers ligt het Maksimir Park, het oudste openbare park in Zagreb, op 10 minuten rijden van het pand, een vredig toevluchtsoord met meren, wandelpaden en een dierentuin. Bezoekers kunnen ook een bezoek brengen aan het Jarunmeer (30 minuten rijden) voor watersporten, fietsen en joggen, met stranden en cafés om van te genieten tijdens de zomermaanden.
Het middeleeuwse Medvedgrad Fort, dat een panoramisch uitzicht over de stad biedt, ligt op 20 minuten rijden. Gelegen op de zuidelijke hellingen van de berg Medvednica is dit een geweldige plek voor een korte wandeling. Andere populaire excursies zijn een uitstapje naar het charmante stadje Samobor (30 minuten rijden), dat bekend staat om zijn middeleeuwse architectuur, geplaveide straatjes en de pittoreske rivier de Gradna.
De dichtstbijzijnde luchthaven bij de accommodatie is de luchthaven van Zagreb: Franjo Tuđman Airport (ZAG) op 22 minuten rijden van de accommodatie.

We knew that the official check-in time was 4:00 PM when we made the reservation. However, after booking and again the day before our arrival, we contacted the property through the official channel to ask if an earlier check-in might be possible in case the room happened to be ready ahead of schedule. Since we didn't receive a clear answer about whether this would be possible, we sent WhatsApp messages to two local managers on the morning of our arrival. Josip explained that early check-in would not be possible because the previous guests needed to check out first and the room had to be cleaned and prepared afterward. He then kindly looked up nearby luggage storage options for us and later let us know in advance that the room might actually be ready earlier than expected. Thanks to this, we were able to check in safely at around 2:00 PM. The pre-check-in instructions were clear and accurate, and the room was clean, comfortable, and looked just like the photos we had seen when booking. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay and were able to enjoy our trip as planned. The location was especially convenient. It was very close to both the bus terminal and the train station, Zagreb city center was easily accessible on foot, and the location also worked very well for day trips outside the city. Oh, and we ended up seeing about five mosquitoes in total, but as the weather got colder, they stopped showing up. (Haha) We also really liked the modern feature that allowed us to open and close the exterior window shutters with a switch!

The apartment was very clean and filled with natural light. We were provided with shampoo and shower gel, and the water pressure was excellent. The bathroom was spacious and had a washing machine, which was very convenient. The apartment is also very secure, with four different codes required before entering. It was extremely quiet, with no noise at all during our stay. The shutters close very well, so no light comes in during the morning, which was great for getting a good night\'s sleep. The apartment/studio was brand new, and the location was perfect. The train station is just across the road, and the city centre is only a 10-minute walk away. There is also a market nearby that stays open until 9:00 pm, as well as a coffee shop. Further up the same street, there is a garage where you can park your car for a fee, or you can park on the street. Street parking costs €13 for 24 hours. There is also a lovely park just a 5-minute walk away, which is a great place to relax. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and would definitely recommend this apartment.

The location, the communication from hosts, clarity of checking in and the quality of the place itself. We had a really comfortable stay and would definitely return. There were family friendly games, Netflix and all the amenities you could need if staying for more than a few nights. We travelled here by train so were in the apartment within 5 minutes of arriving!! Shout out to Dino for being a great host.

I had a fantastic stay at this apartment. The location couldn't have been better — right in the heart of the city with a supermarket just around the corner and easy access to public transport. There was also huge and lovely park at walkable distance, which made it a great spot to relax and unwind. The apartment itself was spotless — very neat and clean, spacious enough with an especially impressive washroom that felt modern and well-maintained. The kitchen was fully equipped with all the necessary appliances, utensils and cutlery, which made cooking super convenient. The host was extremely helpful and responsive, providing all the essentials and even going the extra mile to accommodate additional requests. I felt very safe and comfortable throughout my stay — the building was quiet, secure, and peaceful. Overall, this apartment was a perfect choice. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city!

The host was very communicative and even shared a video showing how to get through all of the locks. It was a beautiful place and the shower, bathroom, washer, etc were nice enough that we didn't mind the dead bugs all over. We assumed they sprayed and they didn't have time to go back and clean it. However, there was a small dust pan so we just scooped them up! Better dead than alive! The place is super cute and cozy, the AC worked really well, and it felt very safe. The host left us a bottle of wine which was a very lovely touch! The sofa bed is hard on one side, so maybe better for 2 guests. Overall, we recommend.

We would like to clarify a few points that may have caused confusion during your stay: The amount of €150 you mentioned was not an extra charge but rather the tourist tax, which is included in the total price shown on Booking. This tax is collected on behalf of the local authorities and was not an additional fee added later. Regarding the cleaning service, we perform cleaning before and after each stay. Mid-stay cleaning is not automatically included but can be arranged upon request for an additional charge. The apartment description on Booking does not list a toaster or coffee machine among the amenities, which is why these items were not provided. We are sorry to hear about the issue with the bathroom heating in apartment 5. Had we been informed during your stay, our local team would have been glad to assist in resolving the matter promptly.
