De historische bovenstad biedt bezienswaardigheden zoals de San Marco-kerk met het kleurrijke pannendak, de Lotrščak-toren en de Zagreb-kathedraal. Voor natuurliefhebbers ligt het Maksimir Park, het oudste openbare park in Zagreb, op 10 minuten rijden van het pand, een vredig toevluchtsoord met meren, wandelpaden en een dierentuin. Bezoekers kunnen ook een bezoek brengen aan het Jarunmeer (30 minuten rijden) voor watersporten, fietsen en joggen, met stranden en cafés om van te genieten tijdens de zomermaanden. Het middeleeuwse Medvedgrad Fort, dat een panoramisch uitzicht over de stad biedt, ligt op 20 minuten rijden. Gelegen op de zuidelijke hellingen van de berg Medvednica is dit een geweldige plek voor een korte wandeling. Andere populaire excursies zijn een uitstapje naar het charmante stadje Samobor (30 minuten rijden), dat bekend staat om zijn middeleeuwse architectuur, geplaveide straatjes en de pittoreske rivier de Gradna. De dichtstbijzijnde luchthaven bij de accommodatie is de luchthaven van Zagreb: Franjo Tuđman Airport (ZAG) op 22 minuten rijden van de accommodatie.

I had a fantastic stay at this apartment. The location couldn't have been better — right in the heart of the city with a supermarket just around the corner and easy access to public transport. There was also huge and lovely park at walkable distance, which made it a great spot to relax and unwind. The apartment itself was spotless — very neat and clean, spacious enough with an especially impressive washroom that felt modern and well-maintained. The kitchen was fully equipped with all the necessary appliances, utensils and cutlery, which made cooking super convenient. The host was extremely helpful and responsive, providing all the essentials and even going the extra mile to accommodate additional requests. I felt very safe and comfortable throughout my stay — the building was quiet, secure, and peaceful. Overall, this apartment was a perfect choice. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city!

The host was very communicative and even shared a video showing how to get through all of the locks. It was a beautiful place and the shower, bathroom, washer, etc were nice enough that we didn't mind the dead bugs all over. We assumed they sprayed and they didn't have time to go back and clean it. However, there was a small dust pan so we just scooped them up! Better dead than alive! The place is super cute and cozy, the AC worked really well, and it felt very safe. The host left us a bottle of wine which was a very lovely touch! The sofa bed is hard on one side, so maybe better for 2 guests. Overall, we recommend.
