Castello della Sala, een 13e-eeuws kasteel dat nu is omgetoverd tot wijnmakerij, ligt net zo dichtbij. Het stadje Orvieto ligt op 30 minuten rijden en is een perfecte dagtrip. De stad ligt op een rotsklif met een ongelooflijk uitzicht en is beroemd om zijn witte wijn en prachtige kathedraal. Fijnproevers zouden op marktdag (donderdag en zaterdag) naar de stad moeten gaan om de bedrijvigheid van de plaatselijke boeren te ervaren die hun producten komen verkopen en de beste regionale ingrediënten voor thuis op de kop tikken. Perugia, de hoofdstad van Umbrië, ligt op 1 uur en 15 minuten rijden en Assisi, de geboorteplaats van Franciscus en bedevaartsoord, op 1 uur en 30 minuten rijden. We had a very nice time in this accommodation. It is very quiet and you have a lot of privacy. Unfortunately the internet connection is not very good. But that didn't bother me except when I was researching places to visit. The area offers many opportunities to do something. Orvieto, Perugia, Bolsena and Lake Bolsena are easily accessible. We also took a trip to Rome during our time here. Our children particularly liked the pool, which, like the entire complex, was always very clean and invited to cool off. The apartment had everything we needed to cook and relax. The two bathrooms were an advantage. If you like to sit in the garden, you should wear a good mosquito repellent. All in all we had a very nice time here.

the house is fully equipped and the living room is spacious. The hygiene and the beds are good. The apartment is on the ground floor. the small garden is not much and it is very hot, the sun shines all day. the apartment is located in a kind of residential area on a mountain. it is a beautiful area. it is remote so your own transport is a must.

Casa molto bella, arredata in maniera elegante e con molto buon gusto, molto pulita e all’interno di una corte signorile. Qualche dettaglio da migliorare, ma non rilevante per avere un soggiorno indimenticabile. Host puntuale e gentile!

The Airbnb's location was great, offering a comfortable and spacious apartment at a reasonable price. The shared pool served its purpose, BUT the hosting company's service was major letdown. The broken refrigerator (was already broken before we arrived) was replaced only after a day, spoiling some of our food due to the scorching 36 degrees outside. Wi-Fi router was broken as well, proposed alternative (Wi-Fi hotspot) had only a little service on the terrace and disconnected frequently. There was almost no cell service in the house, so Wi-Fi was needed. The host's unresponsiveness was frustrating, sometimes she just stopped answering and returning calls. Bedroom window sills were uncleaned (dozens of dead insects), and two out of three wine glasses were cracked. The promised replacement was never delivered. With better attention to service, this place could have been amazing, but our experience was dissatisfying overall.
