Dit lichte duplexappartement in alpine stijl bevindt zich op de 5e verdieping (met lift) van een gezinsvriendelijk complex en is het hele jaar door een ideale uitvalsbasis voor een spannende vakantie. Het appartement biedt plaats aan 5 personen en is zorgvuldig uitgerust met alles wat gasten tijdens hun verblijf nodig kunnen hebben. Op de benedenverdieping van de duplex bevindt zich een eethoek met een tafel voor 6 personen, dressoirs, een flatscreen-tv en een open, ingerichte keuken. De keuken is uitgerust met een inductiekookplaat, magnetron, vaatwasser, koelkast/vriezer, Nespresso- en koffiezetapparaten. De openslaande deuren in de eetkamer leiden naar een balkon met een tafel en stoelen en een spectaculair uitzicht over de berghelling. Een mooie houten trap in de eetkamer leidt naar boven naar een gezellige woonkamer met een bank, een leren fauteuil en een flatscreen-tv. Bovendien kunnen gasten in het gebouw volledig ontspannen dankzij de gemeenschappelijke voorzieningen, waaronder een verwarmd binnenzwembad en een fitnessruimte. Slaapkamer 1: De hoofdslaapkamer, onder de dakrand, heeft een tweepersoonsbed en een kledingkast. Slaapkamer 2: Deze luchtige slaapkamer heeft 2 eenpersoonsbedden en een grote kledingkast. Het appartement ligt op korte loopafstand van de skiliften en de skipistes. Voor een rustiger alternatief zijn er 10 km langlaufloipes, die zowel geschikt zijn voor beginners als voor gevorderden. Tijdens de zomermaanden biedt de vallei tal van leuke activiteiten: prachtige bergpaden om te wandelen of mountainbiken, klimmen, tennis, golf en paardrijden. Voor de meer avontuurlijke gasten zijn er paraglidingcentra in de buurt. Kinderen en volwassenen zullen genieten van de tocht door het bos naar de Berard-waterval of de Grotte A Farinet-grot. Alle voorzieningen van de regio Chamonix liggen voor de deur, want het treinstation van Vallorcine ligt op slechts 2 minuten lopen van de residentie. De Zwitserse grens ligt op vier minuten rijden van het dorp en een minuut verderop ligt het Parc Vallée du Trient, met zijn adembenemende uitzichten en wandelingen. Het beroemde Montreux Jazz Festival, aan de oevers van het Meer van Genève, vindt begin juli plaats en ligt op slechts 1 uur rijden. Vallorcine heeft verschillende restaurants en cafés voor verschillende leeftijden en budgetten. Voor zelfvoorziening is er een wekelijkse markt (elke zondagochtend) in Argentière (op 10 minuten rijden). De luchthaven van Genève ligt op 1 uur en 30 minuten rijden. Vanwege de unieke topografie, ligging en weersomstandigheden in de Mont Blanc-vallei kan de internetverbinding onbetrouwbaar zijn.

L'appartement dispose de tous les équipements nécessaires et est spacieux pour 3 personnes. L'emplacement est idéal pour ensuite partir randonner dans les environs. Un petit cadeau attend à l'arrivée ce qui est toujours très agréable. Nous n'avons pas testé tout ce qu'il est possible de faire dans la résidence (piscine,...). Les explications reçues à l'approche du séjour permet de récupérer les clés et de garer la voiture sans aucun problème : tout est clair et simple.

Although Vallorcine itself is very quiet, we are familiar with the area and we were happy with this. The property was spacious and pleasant. It was quite well equipped too. The free train tickets and location to the station is great. There is a bread shop downstairs which was really useful in the morning. The apartment was nice and we would use it again however Happy Rentals certainly need to improve their service (see what we didn’t like about the property). The price was reasonable however this is partly due to our complaints to Happy Rentals so some of the price was refunded.
