Deze duplex in alpine stijl, in een gezinsvriendelijke residentie, is een ideale uitvalsbasis voor spannende vakanties het hele jaar door. Dit appartement ligt op de 5e verdieping (met lift), is geschikt voor 5 personen en is zorgvuldig uitgerust met alles wat gasten nodig hebben voor een comfortabel verblijf. Op de onderste verdieping van het duplex is er een eethoek met een tafel voor 6 personen, een flatscreentelevisie en een open, ingerichte keuken. De keuken is uitgerust met een inductiekookplaat, magnetron, vaatwasser, koelkast/vriezer, Nespresso- en koffiezetapparaat. Openslaande deuren in de eetkamer leiden naar een balkon, met een tafel en stoelen en een spectaculair uitzicht over de berghelling. Een aantrekkelijke houten trap in het eetgedeelte leidt naar boven naar een gezellige woonkamer met een bank, leren fauteuil en flatscreen tv. Daarnaast kunnen gasten in het gebouw genieten van totale ontspanning met gemeenschappelijke voorzieningen zoals een verwarmd binnenzwembad en een fitnessruimte. Slapen Slaapkamer 1: De grote slaapkamer, verscholen onder de dakrand, heeft een tweepersoonsbed en een kledingkast. Slaapkamer 2: Deze hoekslaapkamer heeft veel lichtinval dankzij de 2 ramen. Het heeft 2 eenpersoonsbedden en een grote kledingkast. Extra: De bank in de zitkamer is om te bouwen tot een comfortabel eenpersoonsbed. Badkamer: Een klassieke, betegelde badkamer met douche, wastafel en toilet. Het appartement ligt op korte loopafstand van de skiliften en de skipistes. Voor een rustiger alternatief zijn er 10 km aan langlaufloipes, geschikt voor zowel beginners als gevorderden. Tijdens de zomermaanden is de vallei vol met leuke activiteiten: prachtige bergpaden om te wandelen of te mountainbiken, klimmen, tennis, golf en paardrijden. Voor de avonturiers zijn er paraglidingcentra in de buurt. Kinderen en volwassenen zullen genieten van de tocht door het bos naar de Berard waterval of de Grotte A Farinet. Alle faciliteiten van de regio Chamonix liggen voor de deur, want het treinstation van Vallorcine ligt op slechts 2 minuten lopen van de residentie. De Zwitserse grens ligt op vier minuten rijden van het dorp, en een minuutje verder ligt het Parc Vallée du Trient, met adembenemende uitzichten en wandeltochten. Het beroemde Montreux Jazz Festival, aan de oevers van het meer van Genève, vindt begin juli plaats en ligt op slechts 1 uur rijden. Vallorcine heeft verschillende restaurants en cafés voor verschillende leeftijden en budgetten. Voor self-catering is er een wekelijkse markt (elke zondagochtend) in Argentière (10 minuten rijden). De luchthaven van Genève ligt op 1 uur en 30 minuten rijden. Vanwege de unieke topografie, locatie en weersomstandigheden in de Mont Blanc-vallei kan de internetverbinding onbetrouwbaar zijn.

Het appartement was heel proper en ruim genoeg voor ons alle 4. Alles was op voorhand goed georganiseerd: alle informatie was duidelijk weergegeven. De rust die we er vonden was subliem. De bakker (en ook het winkeltje) beneden was heel welkom. Misschien een klein minpunt: Er was geen snijplank te vinden, dus wel wat lastig om ter plekke te koken.

Appartamento in un grosso residence abbastanza recente. Dotato di piscina (ma era in manutenzione nei miei giorni di soggiorno) e di sala giochi con biliardo e altro. Un po' isolata come zona, pochi bar e ristoranti nei dintorni. Ambiente pulito e gradevole. Un poco scarsa la dotazione di accessori per il bagno (carta igienica, sapone, shampoo, bagnoschiuma, etc.). La porta di ingresso aveva la serratura rotta. Non abbiamo potuto chiudere a chiave e quindi non lasciavamo mai oggetti di valore in appartamento quando uscivamo (PC incuso). Dotato di due televisori, uno per piano, ma non era abilitato ai canali italiani. E' un peccato, essendo una località molto frequentata dagli italiani.
