Het huis ligt vlakbij een van de mooiste baaien aan de zuidkant van het eiland Lošinj. De baai Zabodarski staat bekend om zijn kiezelstranden en heldere water. Het huis is in 2016 volledig gerenoveerd met traditionele stenen. De structuur is gebouwd om de impact op het milieu te minimaliseren door verschillende functies, zoals - volledig op zonne-energie om elektriciteit te produceren - water wordt verwarmd door zonne-energie - gedeeltelijk gebruik van regenwater (stromend water is ook beschikbaar) - wasgoed wordt alleen gewassen met eco-gecertificeerd wasmiddel - het huis wordt alleen schoongemaakt met eco-gecertificeerde producten - al het recyclebare afval wordt gerecycled - minimaal gebruik van elektronische apparaten om elektronische vervuiling tegen te gaan - gebruik van traditionele bouwmaterialen zoals steen en omgeven door drie huizen om een aangenaam verblijf in de zomer te garanderen, zelfs zonder AC.

Nikola's place was a gem - beautiful little house with a private walk down to a crystal clear beach. Our young kids enjoyed playing in the garden and the hammock. The house is an eco-house, renovated in the original local style - water and energy were plentiful though, powered by solar and rainwater. We loved our stay and would definitely return!

The remote beach is nearby, and the house is far from civilization. This is a quiet area as long as small airplanes do not operate from the nearby airport—anyway, not very often. Changing awareness about eco-friendly life. Quality time to relax without modern media.
