A stylish, contemporary first-floor apartment in a modern residence which makes a wonderful base for an action-packed holiday throughout the year. The apartment sleeps 5 people. The owners have taken great care with the décor and have created a comfortable, relaxing retreat. The spacious living area is slightly divided, with a cosy seating area, furnished with a sofa, wooden armchair and flat-screen TV. At the other end of the room is an attractive dining set-up with a corner banquette and a glass door which leads out onto the private balcony. Here guests can sit and enjoy a cup of coffee whilst enjoying the view. The is off the dining area, with a serving hatch linking the two rooms. The kitchen is well-equipped with a cooker hob, microwave, oven, fridge, raclette, fondue and coffee machine. Guests can enjoy well-tended shared gardens and during the summer months (early June to mid-September) guests also have use of the heated swimming pool, which is also used by the other apartments in the residence. Sleeping Bedroom 1: The master bedroom has a comfortable double bed, which can be separated into 2 single beds. Bedroom 2: The second cosy bedroom has 2 single beds and a bunk bed with a 3rd single bed, a wardrobe and a dressing table/workspace. Bathroom This tiled bathroom has a shower, basin and washing machine. The WC is in a separate room. Location The property is in the village of Montroc, a 3 minute drive from Le Tour ski lifts and 3 minutes from the popular resort of Argentière, near the Grands-Montets ski lifts, shuttle buses and pistes. Some of the higher slopes around Argentière offer skiing later in the season, sometimes right up to early May. During the summer months, the valley is packed with activities from hiking and mountain biking to mountaineering, horse riding, white-water rafting, paragliding, tennis and golf. Argentière (3 minutes drive) has many of the amenities that visitors need, including restaurants and a supermarket. The weekly market, where you can find the very best local ingredients, takes place every Sunday morning. Due to the unique topography, location, and weather conditions in the Mont Blanc Valley, internet connectivity may be unreliable.

Lovely chalet! Be careful if you’re tall in the kitchen not to bump your head above the cooking stove. Bed is nice, balcony has a beautiful view. Bathroom and all the amenities are really good! Only thing is make sure you really read the checkin instructions because the key needs to be picked up from Argentiere, not Mont Roc, which caught me out because I didn’t read the instructions well enough. Would love a few more cooking basics, like oil or some tea/coffee but otherwise a lovely place with great amenities! I‘d stay there again!

Appartement très fonctionnel pour notre famille de 4 avec une très belle vue sur le mont blanc. Un bémol sur la qualité des matelas du lit double qui sont en fait 2 matelas avec l'un plus bas et plus mou que l'autre, l'absence de verre à vin et de reglement de la copropriété qui nous a coûté quelques rappels par le gardien. Le logement est bien situé, notamment à proximité de la gare, l'office de tourisme de l'argentiere a été super efficace pour nous donner toutes les documentations nécessaires à ce que notre séjour soit appréciable, à noter par exemple que l'on a pu bénéficier du train gratuit entre servoz et Valorcine sur justificatif de notre réservation on nous a donné un carte d'hôte permettant de profiter de se déplacer en train.

Happy Rentals which is the party that makes the arrangement for the house is very comercial. The check in for the house is very late: after 16:00 and not 1 minute sooner. The house is a bit outdated: never been modernised after 1970 or something. Brown tiles and old carpet in the bedrooms. No dishwasher or decent oven. Surrounded by unkind neighbours that whatch your every step and are rude. The location is great at 15 minutes from Chamonix. The view at Mont Blanc from the balcony of the house is amazing. The pool very Nice to cool down on a hit summer day. Don’t forget to ask for the carte d’hôte with which you can travel with the train for Free to Chamonix because parking in high season is difficult and expensive.
