Notranjski Park is 20 minutes away. It is known for its population of lynx, bears and wolves. Even closer are the Krizna Jama caves (12 minutes) which visitors can explore by kayak. For self-catering, there are shops nearby, with a grocery store just 3 minutes away. Alternatively, visitors can explore the capital of Ljubljana (50 minutes) for the day and visit the central market there to pick up the best local ingredients. Further afield, the unspoiled Slovenian coast is just 1 hour’s drive and makes a refreshing day out. Ljubljana’s international airport is just over 1 hour away.
