Vigna Home can accommodate up to 5 people and is surrounded by the fine vineyards of a 20-hectare Chianti Classico wine estate. The Rustico is 300 metres from the main building, which houses other flats and where guests will find a beautiful shared swimming pool, as well as the reception and wine cellar. It is ideal for friends or families looking for a peaceful retreat and wishing to explore the Chianti vineyards and famous Tuscan towns. The ground-floor apartment is accessed via 3 steps which lead to a lovely porch. The front door opens into an attractive open-plan kitchen/dining area, with traditional terracotta floors and chestnut wood beamed ceilings. The kitchen is well-equipped with a cooker hob, oven, dishwasher, Mokka coffee maker and a fridge/freezer, plus an elegant dining table. The cosy living room is off the kitchen and furnished with a sofa and flat-screen TV. Outside, guests can relax in the private garden complete with a hammock, outside table and chairs plus a BBQ area, perfect for al fresco dining. Or they can enjoy the unheated outdoor pool (shared with 4 other apartments) surrounded by sun loungers and umbrellas as well as lush greenery and with beautiful views. Sleeps Bedroom 1: The master bedroom has a classic four-poster bed with a wardrobe and air conditioning. Bedroom 2: The second bedroom is furnished with a French bed. Extra: The sofa in the living room converts into a comfortable double bed. Bathroom The tiled bathroom is equipped with a shower, basin, bidet and WC. They have separate access and do not share any of the facilities. Location The property is ideally located in the heart of Chianti, known for its stunning vineyards and scenic landscape. The village of Strada in Chianti (5 minutes) offers an authentic Tuscan bar and restaurant as well as a small supermarket for groceries. Other local markets are a treasure trove of fresh, seasonal produce and certainly worth exploring. Wine lovers will enjoy touring the many local vineyards, which often serve up hearty Tuscan food, quite different to the food in any standard Italian restaurant elsewhere. There is the opportunity to buy wine directly from the producers to try at home. The centre of Florence, the capital of Tuscany, is only 40 minutes away. Here visitors can enjoy some of the world's most beautiful art and architecture. The city of Siena, another jewel of the Renaissance is only 1 hour away and makes a perfect day trip. The medieval town of San Gimingnano (55 minutes) is famous for its multiple towers and pretty squares. The nearest airport is Florence Airport, approximately 30 minutes away by car.
