An ideal base for an active holiday at any time of year, Jonquilles 001 is stylish modern apartment in southern Chamonix. On the ground floor of a contemporary residence, this apartment sleeps 5 people. Close to all the amenities and the ski slopes, it suits friends or family who want a convenient base in the Mont Blanc Valley. The open-plan living space includes a sofa, extensive storage, a flat-screen TV and an attractive wooden dining table. A glass door opens onto the private decked terrace. On the terrace there is a table and chairs for relaxed meals al fresco. Back inside, the kitchen is separated from the living area by a convenient hatch. It is well-equipped with a cooker hob, microwave, dishwasher, Nespresso coffee machine, fridge and fondue. Sleeping Bedroom: The cosy bedroom with wooden walls has a double bed with a single bunk bed above. Extra: The sofa in the living room converts into a comfortable double bed. Bathroom The tiled bathroom has a bath with shower attachment and a basin. The W.C. is separate. Additional • Electric radiators • Terrace • Fenced, private garden • Outside dining with table & Chairs • Hair dryer • Smart TV • Smoke detector • Free public parking (parking spaces cannot be guaranteed) but car not necessary • Child friendly • Unsuitable for elderly guests Location The apartment is in the middle of south Chamonix, opposite the main bus station and just 5 minutes’ walk from the Aiguille du Midi cable car station. The Chamonix Aiguille du Midi railway station, for the Mont-Blanc-Express, is also a 5-minute walk away. The nearby slopes are popular with skiers and snowboarders alike. The peak of Aiguille du Midi, close to Mont Blanc, is a magnet for mountaineers, rock climbing and paragliding in the summer months. All the facilities of the Chamonix region are on your doorstep, including white water rafting, golf and horse riding. Chamonix has all the amenities visitors need throughout the year, including many bars and restaurants to suit all budgets. Chamonix Sud has a weekly market every Tuesday morning. Here you can buy all the freshest ingredients directly from the producers, to try at home. Geneva airport is a 1 hour 10-minute drive from the apartment. Parking spaces are first-come, first-served, and availability is not guaranteed.

Very clear instructions on how to pick up the keys and the location of the pick up was very close to the property. Communication was sent via WhatsApp and email. The location was perfect. It is located very close to the ski bus which is right around the corner. There is shops and restaurants and cafes very close by. It is a short walk in to Chamonix. We stayed there for our ski holiday and the apartment was the perfect size. Plenty of room. The sofa bed was incredibly comfortable and the apartment had everything you need for a comfortable stay. The apartment was warm and cosy and we picked it due to the location to Chamonix Sud ski bus line. Ideal when you are walking in ski boots! We couldn’t have picked a more perfect location.

L'appartement est bien situé, effectivement tout se fait à pied (3 minutes du départ de l'aiguille du midi....). Beaucoup de rangement et logement propre. J'ai eu un peu peur au départ pour récupérer les clés mais les instructions étaient claires et je salue le travail de la personnes qui a rédigé le mémo !

For the price, I would've expected wifi included. Also, I do get Chamonix is not a hot place, so no AC makes sense, but we were during a heat wave and the place didn't have even a fan.
