There is plenty for you to enjoy during your stay, and the apartment’s central location makes it very easy to explore the city on foot. A day trip on the Lago Lugano is a must. Lugano Centrale ferry terminal is only a 14-minute walk from the apartment. Lugano’s famous waterfront, with breathtaking views over the lake, is close by. Another favourite is Piazza Riforma (12-minute walk), the heart of the city. It is a beautiful square lined with excellent restaurants and cafés. For self-catering, there are many excellent food shops in the city, as well as the farmers market on Tuesday and Friday in Via Carducci (15-minute walk). The closest international airports are in Italy - Milan Malpensa, 1 hour and 10 minutes away by car, or Milan Linate, a 1 hour and 20-minute journey.
