Die Beschreibung im Internet war zutreffend, die Infos rund um unsere Reise ebenso und auch wirklich informativ, das Haus an sich SEHR schön, besonders der Ausblick: ein Traum! Die Lage erwartungsgemäß nicht ganz ruhig aber auch nicht anders behauptet und daher unproblematisch. Es gab einige technische und Einrichtungsunzulänglichkeiten, die hinnehmbar waren, z.B. die beiden gestreiften IKEA-Sofas und 2 kleine Sessel mit stark abgewetzten und dann zerrissenen Sitzkissen und stark fleckigen Lehnenbezügen, die wir mit Bettlaken abdecken konnten. Bei einem der schwarzen Sessel war ein Teil des Bodens teilweise ausgebrochen, wir haben ihn daher nicht genutzt sondern beiseite gestellt. Die Sauberkeit war auf den ersten Blick insgesamt gut aber die Matratzenbezüge der Betten waren wirklich schlimm fleckig! Sie waren aber abnehmbar und müssten einfach mal mit Fleckentferner gewaschen werden. Matratzenschoner zum Abziehen und Waschen wären hier ein echter Gewinn, sie waren leider nur in einem der 4 Schlafzimmer vorhanden. Die teilweise ausgebrochenen Halterungen der Frontabdeckung der Dunstabzugshaube (aus braunem Metall) haben wir beim vorsichtigen Öffnen derselben drinnen liegend vorgefunden, nachdem sie auf einer Seite plötzlich herunterhing, und in die 2. Schublade unter dem Herd gelegt, der Deko-Kippdeckel darüber fiel am 3. Tag beim Aufklappen einfach ab. Alles soweit akzeptable kleinere Mängel. Nicht akzeptabel waren aber die auf der Außenseite an 2 Fenstern eingeschlagenen und regendurchlässigen Scheiben im Untergeschoß. Hier müssten die rasiermesserscharfen Kanten - ggf. notdürftig - bis zum endgültigen Austrausch der Scheiben abgeklebt werden. Der massive, faulig-schimmlige Geruch aus den Abflüssen im oberen Bad war ebenfalls inakzeptabel, man musste durchgehend lüften, um das einigermaßen auszuhalten. Der Abfluß müsste gründlicher als das bisher geschehen ist gereinigt werden, einfaches Spülen mit Reinigerkonzentrat hat trotz 2 Stunden Einwirkzeit jedenfalls gar nichts genützt. Wir würden trotzdem gerne wiederkommen, falls wir nach diesem ehrlichen Lagebericht überhaupt noch willkommen wären. We had a great stay at Cressogno, the house was clean and up to the expectation with only a few issues with the furniture (some blinds did not unfold, parking space quite small). The access to the lake was not direct from the house as expected when looking at the pictures, but we enjoyed some great moments on the terrace equipped for barbecues. The surroundings in Italy and Switzerland are beautiful with plenty of good restaurants and outdoor activities to embellish your stay. Grazie!

It’s great property and great view. From the property you can take a bus ( very careful with the time table it only comes certain time) to take ferry and go to Bellagio, Varenna, or Menaggio. Or you take other direction to go to Lugano and Como. It just one bus. This bus also can takes you from Lugano to the property you don’t have to take taxi

The location and views are amazing. The layout of the house is fine and worked well for our group of adults. It was unfortunately very dirty when we arrived, there were cobwebs every where and it felt like it hadn't been properly cleaned in a very long time, there was even a bag full of trash left on the dock that looked like it had been there awhile (the oven was very dirty and there were fingerprints all over the microwave as well) The bathroom doors didn't shut properly and the handles were falling off the doors (and there were plug-ins hanging off the wall in some areas) . Very bare bones in terms of what the house offered (no towels, no dish towels, very few drinking glasses etc). I think the area is very nice, and this house has potential, it just needs a little TLC to make it more comfortable.
