Place was as expected, dogs welcome. Great if you have a dog. Place doesn't have an oven so staying for almost a fortnight was a bit tricky but I was aware of this. The bed is a sofa bed but good as far as sofa beds go. Parking was great, but after about a week a barrier trapped me in the car park (it had been upright until then) and I had to disturb a neighbour to let me out. I then couldn't get back in after my evening out - which caused issues. The next day this was resolved by having to visit the office (down the road) to collect the remote control to operate the barrier. Be aware of this if you take a car. I was also accidentally locked in the apartment on my last day, I believe by the cleaner. But because there was a back door, I was able to exit that way (but this isn't lockable from the outside. I think this happened at exactly 10am (check-out time). I would stay again, because I love Argentiere, the place felt real chill and is quiet, and perfect for dogs.

3 stars mainly based on the location as it's absolutely stunning to be within the mountains. Having fabulous hikes on the doorstep is unbeatable. The shared pool was also a bonus as well as the bottle of wine on arrival. The apartment is very dated, the sofa bed not very comfortable and spots of mould and peeling plaster present. It really needs some TLC and updating. After booking, I contacted the host and asked a few questions, my questions were ignored and asked that all further correspondences were through "Happy Rentals" instead. I wouldn't have minded, had they been pleasant and easy to contact (open at 9:30, close at 6:30) WiFi available but no password given so have to contact the rental company to obtain - this can be frustrating if it's outside of office hours. Can't possibly understand how they warrant charging an additional £100+ cleaning fee when they make you do most of it yourself. Wouldn't stay with Mara again but very much enjoyed the town it was situated in.
