Guests looking to savour authentic-fine Italian cuisine during their stay are well placed for reaching the family-friendly Pizzerias of upmarket Laglio, Cernobbio and Argegno. Fine Italian dining with a contemporary twist is also the ‘special of the day’ at the temptingly close lakeside restaurant, ‘Crotto dei Platani’ (3 minutes’ drive away). From the scenic main lake road of Brienno, guests can also take themselves off to explore; via bus or car. The gorgeous western shore is home to the up-market resort villages of Laglio, Carate Urio, Moltrasio and Cernobbio (9-15 minutes’ drive away) and the world-class villa attractions, central lake ferry links and dedicated lidos along the beautiful central lake (15 minutes’ drive away).
