A third floor, stylish studio apartment, in a luxury development in central Lugano, just a 20-minutes walk from the shores of Lake Lugano. A unique development, Icon H caters to people on business or on holiday. The communal facilities include a co-working space, a reception lobby, a ground floor bar and restaurant with outdoor seating, a gym and secure storage space. The light-filled apartment sleeps 2 people. The living room has a large window with a glass door that leads out onto a private terrace with a wooden table and two chairs. Back indoors, the stone-floored living area has a contemporary sofa, a flat-screen Smart TV and a dining table with 2 seats. In the sleek, open plan kitchen you will find everything you might need during your stay: a cooker hob, microwave, fridge, freezer and Nespresso machine. Sleeping There is a comfortable pull-down double bed in the living room. Bathroom The stylish stone-tiled bathroom has a glass shower, large basin and WC. The city hosts many festivals throughout the year, including the “Luganomusica” festival every summer. MASI (the Museum of Art of Italian Switzerland) (20-minute walk) hosts regular contemporary art exhibitions. If you have time a day trip on the Lago Lugano is a must. Otherwise take a walk along Lugano’s famous waterfront, with breathtaking views over the lake. Then head to Piazza della Riforma, the heart of the city, and enjoy an apertivo in this charming square. For business travellers, the apartment is just an 11-minute walk from the Centro Esposizioni Lugano exhibition centre and an 18-minute walk from the Palazzo Dei Congressi Lugano. The closest international airports are in Italy - Milan Malpensa 1 hour and 5 minutes away by car, or Milan Linate, a 1 hour and 20-minute journey. Arriving by train? Lugano’s railway station is a 25-minute walk from the apartment.
