The ideal place for a large family holiday or group of friends who want to explore this glorious part of Italy! Just 5 km from the village of Loro Ciuffenna, which has been included in the list of the 'Most Beautiful Villages in Italy', Villa Querceto, is an ideal place to relax and unwind on the slopes of Pratomagno. The villa, which sleeps 12 people, is divided into two separate flats and enjoys a magnificent view over the valley. It has a private swimming pool with a slide and an illuminated tennis court. Guests will enjoy relaxing on the sun loungers next to the pool after a refreshing dip. At the rear of the house, there is an area for outdoor cooking with a barbecue, wood-burning oven and sink. Both flats are on the first floor and each has a private, shaded balcony furnished with sofas and a dining area, so groups can holiday together but also maintain some independence. Inside both apartments, there is an open-plan living room with a fireplace, sofa, flat-screen Smart TV and a dining area. There are two separate kitchenettes equipped with a cooker hob, oven, dishwasher, microwave, fridge-freezer and coffee machine. On the ground floor of the house, there is a changing room for guests who are playing tennis or swimming, plus a shower and a laundry room. Sleeping: Each apartment has 3 bedrooms, 2 with double beds and 1 with 2 single beds. All the bedrooms are individually decorated and have wardrobes, some also have chests of drawers. Bathrooms: The house has 3 bathrooms in total. One bathroom in each apartment and the third on the ground floor. Each is appointed with a shower, bidet, basin and WC. Note: From 22nd October to 3rd November and 1st to 15th May additional heating is charged at €20/day. Location Halfway between the beautiful cities of Florence and Arezzo (each approximately 55 minutes) and not far from Siena (1 hour 20 minutes), the villa is ideally placed to allow guests to explore central Tuscany and the Chianti region. The village of Loro Ciuffenna is 15 minutes away. Here there you will find shops, bars and some excellent restaurants. For self-catering the nearby towns of Terranuova Bracciolini (22 minutes), Montevarchi (25 minutes) and San Giovanni Valdarno (28 minutes) have supermarkets and weekly markets, which are the best places to pick up fresh regional ingredients and to shop like a local. Montevarchi market is on Thursday; Terranuova market is on Friday and San Giovanni Valdarno is on Saturday. For wine lovers, the towns of Gaiole in Chianti and Radda in Chianti are both just under an hour away and are the closest towns where Chianti wine is produced. In this area, you will find splendid wine cellars where you can enjoy wine tastings and buy wine directly from the vineyards. The nearest airport is Amerigo Vespucci Airport in Florence just over 1 hour by car.
