Set in a private condominium of villas, just 5 minutes from the beach, this charming villa for 6 is the perfect holiday spot for families or friends who want to relax in peace and explore north-western Sardinia. It is an authentic Sardinian villa with a wide, arched veranda that looks out over the garden. The veranda is a comfortable living space, with deck chairs and a dining area for meals al fresco. The interiors are light and airy, with traditional tiled floors. The living room, which is linked to the veranda via French windows, is furnished with a sofa, two armchairs, an attractive open fireplace and a flat-screen TV. There is a dining area at the other end of the room and the main kitchen is just next door. The spacious kitchen is well-equipped with a cooker hob, oven, dishwasher, coffee machine and fridge/freezer. There is also a small dining table for quick snacks. There is a stunning roof terrace, which is partly covered and furnished with a table and chairs where guests can relax and enjoy the panoramic views over the Gulf of Asinara. Sleeping Bedroom 1: The elegant master bedroom has a double bed, a wooden chest and a wardrobe Bedroom 2: The second bedroom is furnished with a double bed and a wardrobe Bedroom 3: This colourful bedroom has 2 single beds and a wardrobe. Bathroom There are 2 independent bathrooms in the villa. Each has a shower, basin, bidet and WC. There is also a 3rd shower outside. Additional • Free wifi • Terrace & balcony • BBQ • Outdoor dining area • Private, fenced garden • Air conditioning • Fireplace • Ceiling fans • Washing machine • Hair dryer • Books library • Waste disposal • Private Parking - car essential • Suitable for elderly guests Location Set in a peaceful condominium, the villa is just 5 minutes from a quiet beach, which is used mainly by guests from the estate. Sardinia’s north-western coast is less developed than the better-known Costa Smeralda, but there is a lot to see and do close by. Just 15 minutes up the coast is Castelsardo, considered one of the ‘100 Most Beautiful Villages in Italy’. The village gets its name from Doria Castle which dominates the clifftop and is in excellent condition. Exploring the winding streets and enjoying the local restaurants makes a rewarding day out. The fascinating city of Sassari (25 minutes) is one of the oldest cities on the island. Its historic centre is home to many palaces and fine churches but it is less touristy than many other towns on the island. For fans of local food, the city’s Mercato Civico promotes the best and freshest regional ingredients. The new covered market may not have the charm of a street market but the produce on sale more than makes up for this. Alghero airport is 45 minutes away.
