The villa is located in Cannigione, a town in the municipality of Arzachena, about 20 km from Olbia, in the northeast of Sardinia. Originally a quiet fishing village, it has now become a popular tourist destination situated in the Gulf of Cannigione.
In winter, the town has about 800 residents, but in summer it transforms into a lively tourist hub, attracting visitors from all over the world.
