A spacious apartment, in a striking modern residence, high on a hillside, in a green and quiet area of southern Lugano, with stunning lake views. This 2nd floor, 2 bedroom, contemporary apartment sleeps 4 people and is the perfect choice for anyone looking to explore the Lago di Lugano at any time of year. The apartment has elegant parquet floors throughout and many stylish features. The airy living area is furnished with a chic corner sofa, two armchairs and a large flatscreen HD TV. Wide glass doors lead out onto a covered balcony with a table and four chairs, looking out onto the well-kept gardens. At the other end of the living area, there is another balcony which has been glazed over and converted into a bright dining room for 6 people, with stunning views over the lake and Mount San Salvatore. The ultra-modern kitchen is fully equipped with a cooker hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, an American style fridge-freezer, toaster and a Nespresso machine. Next to the kitchen is a utility room complete with a washing machine and dryer. Sleeping Bedroom 1: The bright master bedroom has a large double bed, ample wardrobe space and a seating area where guests can relax in private. There is also an en suite bathroom. Bedroom 2: A sunny room with a corner window and spectacular views over the lake. This bedroom has a comfortable sofa bed which sleeps 2, a wardrobe and a dressing table that double as a work station if needed. It has an en suite bathroom and access to the glazed balcony via a separate door. Bathrooms Bathroom 1: An en suite bathroom for bedroom 1. This pretty tiled bathroom has a full bath with a shower, basin and WC. Bathroom 2: An en suite bathroom for bedroom 2 with a glass shower, basin and WC. Additional • Free Wifi • Shared garden • Central heating • Washing machine, dryer, iron & ironing board • Laptop friendly workspace • Hair dryer • Waste disposal • Private parking, a car is recommended • Child friendly • Elderly friendly Location The apartment is situated 8km from Piazza della Riforma, the heart of Lugano (20 minutes drive). The ideal place for an aperitivo or espresso whilst you watch the world go by. In the Italian-speaking Ticino canton of Switzerland, the city of Lugano is well known for its rich cultural heritage and stunning natural setting. On the shores of the Lago di Lugano, the waterfront promenade is not to be missed. Or take a day trip out on the lake, to really appreciate the magnificent scenery. The city is home to many museums and galleries. One of the most popular is MASI (the Museum of Art of Italian Switzerland) (17 minutes drive) hosts regular contemporary art exhibitions. Guests can also take the funicular railway up to the summit of Mount San Salvatore (11 minutes drive) for the best views of the lake and surrounding mountains. The Parco San Grato (4 minutes drive) offers visitors a chance to immerse themselves in nature, with beautiful, themed hikes and stunning views over the lake. There is plenty for children to do, including handcrafted swings, a playground and special star gazing evenings. The closest international airports are in Italy, Milan Malpensa 1 hour and 13 minutes away by car, or Milan Linate, a 1 hour and 27 minute journey.

Wir haben als Familie Urlaub gemacht – ich, meine Frau, unser Sohn und die Schwester meiner Frau. Die Wohnung ist wirklich wunderschön und sehr gemütlich. Alles war blitzsauber – so sauber, dass die Schwester meiner Frau sich sogar die Nase an der Glastür zur Terrasse gestoßen hat, weil sie sie gar nicht gesehen hat. Aber das war nur eine lustige Kleinigkeit 😂 Uns hat wirklich alles super gefallen! Vielen Dank für alles!

Calm and functional apartment in the outskirts of Lugano. People not familiar with the region should be aware of the 300 meter altitude difference to the city center (a 10 minutes drive). Though every meter is worth the splendid view you will enjoy from the dining table. Great place to enjoy the beauty of the region.

Die Wohnung hat eine traumhafte Aussicht und liegt in einer sehr ruhigen Gegend. Alles war sehr sauber. Sehr bequemes Bett. Im zweiten Zimmer gibt es leider nur ein Ausziehsofa, was etwas schade ist. Die Küche ist neu und alles ist vorhanden. Mit bester Empfehlung.

Very interesting place to stay . Calm and at same time near everything. Regarding apartment conditions the only thing i've to point is the fact that the 2nd bedroom has not a proper bed , but confortable anyway. Very charming apartment.

El apartamento es muy cómodo, enorme y precioso, de revista! Las vistas al monte San Salvatore y al lago de Lugano son increíbles. De hecho está al lado del inicio de la ascensión a San Salvatore, en cincuenta minutos andando estás arriba con unas vistas espectaculares. La cama de la habitación principal muy cómoda. La equipación de la cocina super completa. La urbanización muy tranquila y la limpieza excelente. La terraza de la parte de atrás da a un jardín interior con un bosque al fondo precioso. Estuvimos encantados.
